QUOTE(terrysoh @ Mar 3 2019, 12:39 AM) Wait for 11th ... Arsenal vs ManU, that one got whole day to topup, since 12.30am only start. You are wrong. Please correct me if i am wrong, thank bros. Follow UK match time/date. Arsenal vs MU kick off at 4.30pm 10 March (UK time) Only spending on 10 March is eligible for 5x. That’s means you need to spend even before the kick-off and hope that MU win |

QUOTE(Lego Warfare @ Mar 4 2019, 08:16 AM) This didn't clarify anything at all. Not sure if you misunderstood us or we misunderstood you.Anyway, we knew the bonus TP is rewarded MANUALLY. For transactions, I doubt they have the resources to convert date/time from MY time to UK time to determine bonus TP eligibility. Why make it so complicated? So as it stands, just make sure your transaction date is same as UK kick-off date, then you will be fine. |

QUOTE(Catalyst86 @ Mar 4 2019, 02:58 PM) Haha sorry my bad I got it too. Only gonna show up in my statement later this month. It's never too late. Biggest regret not getting this card sooner. HSBC costed me so many points when they devalued points to airmiles so drastically I wish i paid more attention to this whole CC rewards/cashback/airmiles 2 years ago where I had large spending to renovate and move into my new condo... |

QUOTE(hlee077 @ Mar 4 2019, 03:21 PM) Hi all, anyone compared overseas transactions currency rate for the 2 cards? Since both cards give 5x tp for overseas transaction. Any significant difference in the rate? I remember I read the Amex card for overseas spending will calculate into US dollar first, then add on a certain % ( more than 1%).. so which card to use for overseas merchant? Thanks! AMEX - it's per what you written and the fee is 2.5%VISA- 1% levied by Maybank + 1.25% by VISA Most of the time, VISA wins. Because of the mechanism, Amex fee end up could be slightly higher than 2.5% Last but not least, also depends if there's any promotion or contest by Visa or Amex. Don't mind paying slightly more |

QUOTE(hwang ti puh @ Mar 4 2019, 06:39 PM) Sifus, visa infinite give 5x TP for local spending but MU visa infinite only give 5x TP if MU win, so the conventional visa infinite is better option? I ask due to not sure why some forumer prefer MU card to collect TP. Visa Infinite is 2x local and 5x overseas spending. MU VI is the same, just with some additional perks like 5x when MU wins and 5x grocery.5x TP local spend only with Amex but not all merchant accepts Amex |

QUOTE(Tigerr @ Mar 5 2019, 08:26 AM) You clearly dont understand. You started when people saying topping up after midnight 12 n cross to the next day in malaysia time and you have a black n white to prove it. You so forgetful ah? Or your english is just too powerful n wonderful? Read your post 3996 n see what u said. QUOTE(Lego Warfare @ Mar 5 2019, 11:19 AM) You really are a moron. Not going to bother replying to someone who doesn’t know how to read. Aiya, chill la. Maybe just poor english misunderstanding each other. or Lego didn't state properly when you quote the 2 posts, which are correct btw. So you quote Maybank black and white (didn't saw the example also). Not sure you are agreeing or disagreeing.[attachmentid=10195963] anyway general rules of thumb 1. Transaction date must match UK kick-off date. 2. Transaction date is recorded in local MY time 3. So, 8pm-10pm is the best for us. Since we can know the results and spends after that (but before 12am next day) 4. 11pm kick-off - can see half-time results first, then only decide to spend or not. 5. 12am-4am kick off - Spend first and then pray MU win |

QUOTE(herc @ Mar 5 2019, 11:58 AM) Actually I am interested to know why suddenly so many ppl rush to M2P, just because u can reload via BP and earn the 10k (hopefully) miles. I'm getting married this year and unfortunately will be spending big. so with or without BP, i can meet the spending requirement...Have u all know how the miles work? so with M2P, hopefully i get enough miles to redeem Business/First Class for my Europe honeymoon next year... |

Depends on one’s preferenceInstead of accumulate the point for one First class flight ticket, why not redeem for multiple times economy class flight ticket? Any comment? But business give you the best return. And once in your life, don’t u want to enjoy business class |

QUOTE(malaysiaboleh2020 @ Mar 5 2019, 10:45 PM) I can but its so hard to use AMEX around malaysia. If I were to use visa infinite most of the time then whats the point of applying premier2. Big ticket items usually accept Amex. Flight tickets, jewellery, luxury items. What do you normally use for amex? Remember, it's combined RM80k for Amex Reserve + VI and with MU VI, you can time your purchases in order to get the 5x bonus TP (when MU wins) to be on par with Amex. This opens up a lot possibilities - pay insurance, utilities bill, education fees, etc. |

QUOTE(rivetindigo @ Mar 5 2019, 10:50 PM) After i received the card then i realised that not many merchant takes amex 😅. For restaurants, you can try to link your Amex to Fave and pay with it.For the past 1 month i used muvi more than amex. Amex can count how many times im using. Some restaurants don't have CC terminals for Amex, but they do accept FavePay. And FavePay can link with Amex. |

Let's say for Agoda booking right, is there any difference between using Amex and Visa Infinite?
Payment gateway is oversea = so 5x TP Currency - Agoda auto-convert (and rip you off 4-5% on exchange rate) to MYR. So, no additional fees charged by Amex or Visa right? |
