Hey guys i've been living in malaysia for 1 years now ,and generaly ping rate and latancy for wow is high .for E.g i have 1mg streamYx(yes i know sucks)and my ping is between 550-900ms however in another country(iran) i used 128k and i got 200-500ms
so pls post your latancy.BTW when we can connect ot wow again with streamyx ?

did you not read what is happening now? about the internet? i dont think any 1 can give you a result at the moment untill it is solved..

but last i played with a 218 ip i got 250-340ping.

if you mean last time be4 it broke down, most of the time, which i means 80% of the time, my latency is red, and always 900 and above, but rarely i feel lag, still quite smooth although latency high

rarely i get below 800 latency

once conect in, minimum 4k latency, max of mine is 29k lol

when I get the right IP, I usually got around 400~600 ping, which is counted smooth. But, if the wrong IP, around 800~1000+ and its like 2 sec delay casting stuff. That is before the earthquake problems.

Right now, its unplayable and sometimes, I couldn't get logged in, and disconnects once I finish loading my characters.

Usually I get 200-400ms when ping, and quite smooth in game. Maybe I m connecting to CyberJaya exchange.

Now, of course cant login loh. :-(

haihz.... around 200-500 which is good for us actually sucks in us we`re like second hands lol.. us ppl get around 50~100 ping, which benefit them from instant casting all.. sad

200-400ms on "normal" days... sometimes when it gets to 1k I just reset and I'm good again...

With the recent events, WoW is unplayable due to high pings since we can't link straight to US via Taiwan/China...

However, this morning I was getting 1-2k pings, playable as far as farming mobs heh...

Looks like things are improving though... pray it continues so

good IP: 350- 599 ( a yellow connection )

bad IP: 600 - 1k ( a red connection )

BUT when the ever-smart TmNut doing "maintenance", u CANT get on at all!

For those that are using jaring.

You can try login in today. Lag you will get will be around 1k- 1.5k ms..

go to isolated area.. avoid IF and SW... if u ever go in.. its gg for u

i got in today, and the ping's not bad at all - avg. 400+ ping for 2 hours.

then it started to build up to (right now) 1.2k ping... =\

5k with tmnut.. grr....

yea . it getting better at 2am today, at least allow me to do AH. though at >2k ms, no DC.

Am using Streamyx 512k and I live on the outskirts of Cyberjaya.. and I got around 200-500ms latency.. and usually in the Green latency range.. which I am thankful for

ofcourse sometimes I go into the reds.. but rarely hit 1k latency.. and ofcourse i'm talking about before the recent internet troubles..

Jaring wired BB, constantly in the 400 range ping. Very cosistant, rarely goes to 500. Well right now, 2k -.-

Unfortunately this is the sad state of affaris at tmnet.

I was in Singapore when the earthquake happened. Less than 48 hours later, internet in Singapore was restored back to normal. Now, I'm back in Malaysia almost a week later, and the internet is not yet restored. With all the government talk about the MSC and use of IT and increase in internet usage, such a small hiccup can already cause so much problems. Are investors going to invest in a country with no backup facilities even for simple basic internet services?

jaring connection is superb terrible atm.. I cant check my Ym properly and logon to WoW at all

At about 7pm to 9pm yesterday nite.. the ping was better for me.. hovering just below 1k latency and up to just below 2k latency.. which is the best latency I've got post Earth Quake Event..

how ever.. after 9pm I started to get horrible lag and even got DC once.. hopefully I can have the low latency again tonite even if its only for a short time

OK i've played with 550ms with some lag spike around 4 AM - 730 am at wednesday morning...how ever after that until now i cant open my Yahoo messenger too ... f uck the wow now icant check my e-mail too...

i just on to WoW. with 9K ms latency. but at least now i can see my toon and actually mount around in ogrimmar. and this is with a 60.xxx.xxx.xxx IP. will experiment more on this later.

It depends on the time in my opinion..

I've been playing WoW for the last 2 days and the latency is quite playable (800-1500) between 7pm to 10pm.. but after that it could go up to 3k and pretty much unbearable..

I was just thinking... Will the connection be fixed by BC? Can we get our connection back before the launching of it?

Well BC is gonna be so tough if its not fixed, all our guildies will be rushing to 70 while we're stuck at 60. Going to make raiding impossible if we're not 70 when everyone not affected by this BS hits 70 and start doing new content.What burns me up is , tmnet not updating us on the state of the work being done. When i call them all i hear is the recorded message that we all heard on the 28th and that they dont know anything except, that its all because of the damaged lines.Nothing new , THEY feel that since the problem was caused by the earthquake , they're not responsible.ARE'NT they collecting money from us to provide a service , if the service is affected, they must do something, NO ? all they know is to COLLECT MONEY AND WAIT FOR OTHERS TO FIX THE PROBLEM. The government should remove the MONOPOLY that TMNET HAS, give them some competition , viable competition , so that they may wake the F### UP , and provide the bloody service they collect money for. The government has protected this piss poor excuse for a company long enough and i'm sick of it. Singapore , recovered in 2 days , its been 9 days and things are getting worse for some . In fact some may say i'm over reacting , but this has made me rethink going overseas to work, and yes , lots will say ,over INternet ? LOL. Ya its true alot of lvl 60 will rush to 70 but alot of us will be trying blood elves and dranei tho. But i would prefer to start at lvl 1 again then learn up gem cutting profession

Gem cutting thingy can be learned even at lvl 60. And faster too. Just that you dont spend the correct amount of time discovering it.

dl proxifier > setup office proxy server > click on launcher > play wow with 250-400ms in times of crisis.

thats how i get around the latency problem. im one of the lucky ones who is not effected at all by the latency problem. im getting my normal wow fix as before the earthquake happen with even better latency ever.

one of my friend is using www.relakks.com vpn service and connecting to wow , he is online with me everynite at about 1k ms la constant.
