dang..yea tell me about it..i got a fender stainless steel bass string set..cost me 75... which was quite cheap considering they are bass strings....
testing them out...sounds good..but not sure how long they will last...

i even managed to find flat wound strings..but waay expensive..was about 140 something i think.. sad.gif

hmmm...care to explain the wonderful reason behind the existence of .70 to .11 set?...im a bassist..not sure about this sting gauges and what they do....

meaning..?..string tension very high?...its a very thick string?

sick...jealous....sad.gif... blak trix..u know other places that sell flatwound strings?..........is there much tone diff from stainless to nickel wound?...nickel is more expensice...i had the option of getting fender stainless or ernieball nickel wound... i picked stainless ...sound seems very bright...not too bad...just waiting to see if it stands the test of time smile.gif
