i thought of PRS purely for tax relief purposes. yes, correct, your funds will be tied up. whether to go for it or not, will depend on your tax bracket and also your willingness to part with the money. i myself invest in PRS but my tax bracket at 11% only. those who are at 20%+, of course seems more worth it. btw, another reason for PRS is for the RM500 youth incentive, if you are entitled.

those 2 funds that i mentioned, i still think they are good funds, but i guess a very good example of chasing high performance fund in a wrong environment/timing. i guess it goes to show why DCA and VCA is really important.

Sad day ahead for Asian market as DJIA tank 217 or 1.2%

I hv KGF too but top up via cash

These few fund IRR lausai.

CIMB principal Asia pac <1% (almost 2 years holding)
AIWF 1% (2 years holding)
Global Emerging Fund (negative IRR) - almost 2 years holding.

Anyone invested in RHB Gold and General Fund?
The retubr seems very attractive, however,  the risk rating of the fund is very high compare to other funds and volatile much.
