QUOTE(ahmadfaizadnan @ Oct 20 2017, 05:16 AM) Overall performance is quite good, the sound is fuller and tends toward warm sound signature, punchy bass if compared to my Musical Fidelity V-PSU+V90-DAC+V90-HPA headphone amp sysem which has very clean and transparent sound. Vocal music is more enjoyable on this monoblock, could be because of the valve pre-amp from the monoblock system. I believe the sound could be better if using HD800, hehe, but currently beyond my reach. |

QUOTE(ahmadfaizadnan @ Oct 21 2017, 02:29 AM) cool2. I am currently driving both my HD6XX and HD800 with ECP DSHA-0 and I keep smiling whenever I play any song from TOKIMONSTA. When I listen to my setup with HD800, I am surprised that it comes close to Stax009+BHSE (listen to it at canjam). Sennheiser really done it right with HD800 ECP DSHA-0, the name sounds complicated to me, haha, must be some good stuff. I bet it must be expensive, for something that can pair with HD800. Any picture how this ECP DSHA-0 is like? |

QUOTE(ahmadfaizadnan @ Oct 22 2017, 12:47 AM) ![]() ![]() It's a bargain when compares with a setup around USD 10k. It's DIY amp and this is the old version, the newest they have is DSHA-4 (solid state) and L3 (tube amp). Since the DSHA-0 is a prototype, Doug from ECP doing a lot of experiment with it. The DSHA-0 is better than DSHA-1/2 and L2 but slightly below than DSHA-3. One of the Head-fier said his L3 combo with HD800 are nearly on par with KGSHHV carbon + SR009. Doug really know what he is doing |
