Players like ronaldo and robben can only perform at their best in EPL..
I saw robben play with Real but i didnt see any improvement..he was far better with Chelsea..under Mourinho.. |

QUOTE(Apis_LuaLua @ Mar 26 2008, 04:29 PM) We cant realy say about that. From my observation, fast players always hampers with long term injuries. Such as Giggs, Henry & Robben to name a few.Once they got that injury it will usually las for couple of years. For example, Henry util the invincible season, he was unstoppable. Sometime after that season he got injured and it has been affecting him until today. Lets just pray that our Ronaldo can keep fit and avoid these long term injuries. |

both players are just as good when on top form..too bad robben's injury prone..his first season playing with chelsea was absolute electric!hasn't fully recovered that form ever since.watched him a few times with real..less direct, but definitely technique n awareness are still fantastic.ronaldo can head the ball better but robben makes up for that with better crosses.apart from that i'd say they're level.sure miss him at chelsea..i'd take ronaldo's heading ability combined with robben's crossing..cristiano robben!

ronaldo can crossing pretty well but mostly now he didnt prefer that.. his gameplay now is more to direct passing and shooting

well if he had stayed injury-free,i think he would come really2 close..remember both players have their off games as well..neither are great 100% of the time.so its a bit unfair to doubt robben's ability to develop as a player, considering he's mostly on the sidelines..n yeah i agree the thread should be closed..one of the players here isn't fit 50% of the time.this poll was relevant probably 1 or 2 years ago

ar could be the real deal if he didn't ditched MU for chelsea last time.
saf knows a bit of trick of in developing a young and raw talents into an exceptional player. right now, cr is a lot better than him. cr score more goals and he has more hair too! back then, both player used to be on equality.... at least, in diving |

when Robben is at full fitness, it is a tough call...
both can zip past opposition, good positional sense, good shots... now = CR, when Robben is fully fit, will be a close battle...if not, Real Madrid wouldn't have taken him rite? and he was the fuss of the BPL only a couple of seasons back mind you... |
