According to the person starting this thread, he was required to terminate the line but that includes porting out to other telcos but not if he stays with maxis. Weird isn't it????!!!

QUOTE(jolmy @ Mar 21 2016, 09:32 PM)
about the deposit, terminate means you must go Maxis terminate and return the number to them only can get it back??

If you do MNP to another telco, they will hold it??

15yrs I with maxis. Never been offered a promo. Now I'm under i6plus contract maxis one 155 plan till this December 2016.

After reading bout the west Malaysia plan and counter offers, I'm done with maxis. Porting out in December to celcom.

Hmm... I have some RM200++ deposit with Maxis... but as long as I can get it back after offsetting the final bill then should be fine.

Penalty includes device price. Too expensive to defer.

i got question.....im using maxis now...interested in porting to Celcom...but if i do this, will the bank TAC system still work? some banks only allow to change number by visiting their branch, not using ATM.....has anyone tested this?

If you're mnp and using the same number, it doesn't effect the TAC system because it send to the number, not to the Telco.

How do you think a bank can change 012123456 to 012123456 in the bank system? It's the same number.
