Thought I'd pimp my current workhorse. It's a custom painted KUL ES-87 with 65g Purple Zealios and the Penumbra SA set.

I have to say, I don't think I can go back to Topre's after typing on this. Feels so good.

sell me your penumbra hahaha, hopefully theres a R2

Nevaaaaa

I got tired of waiting for the R2. SA production is so backlogged right now, I don't think we'll ever see another run of this set. Shame, I could use another 10 of these tongue.gif

any idea where to buy mx clear/ zealio switches?
*
The R3 groupbuy is happening right now if you want to buy a complete set of Purple Zealios. IMO they are the best switches I've ever typed on, and I have pretty much every one of them tongue.gif Of course, it is personal preference.

wow, its from canada. have you experience buying things from outside malaysia? eg how long until it arrives to MY? how much the shipping cost?
*
Yeah, I buy stuff outside of Malaysia all the time. My KUL came from Indonesia, and the Penumbra set from America. I don't remember the shipping costs for my Purple Zealios, but they were part of the R2 groupbuy. ZealPC is very dependable, so you shouldn't have any problems buying from them.

Around MYR600. For the amount of money spend, is this worth it? biggrin.gif

You could spend a little bit more and buy THE definitive Topre board aka the HHKB2 (Realforce owners don't kill me)

That said, I've heard some good things about the Kludge. Build quality might not be on par with others, but people say it's better to type on than Novatouch keys.

Did you use a hhkb before?
How is it? Is it that good  confused.gif
Considering it

It is very good if you can get used to the layout. If it wasn't for Purple Zealios and SA caps I'd probably stick to a Topre board for the rest of my life.

is it possible to replace the LED only on that keyboard if the LEDs fails? I'm planning to buy it to replace my Ducky One Red switches will that be a good idea?
*
I'm sure you could, but I have no experience with soldering LEDS. That said, are you sure a topre board is the right switch for you? They're very different from Reds.

maybe ill try that after successfully change my blues to brown on poker ii haha. havent tried the zealios, how is it?

Hands down the best tactile switch I've typed on. Buttery smooth, and has a wonderful clack that reminds me of the HHKB's thock. If you put SA caps on they feel like magic lol.

Vespersaint's typing video is all you need to see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fz5zcRogFfg

One question, do you have any problem with Malaysia customs (do u need to pay tax for it?) since the switch came from Canada? Need your expertise on this  biggrin.gif
*
Nope, no problems at all. Keyboard switches are tax free smile.gif

Rotating back to the HHKB for some writing work. Zealios are great all-around switches, but nothing compares to the snap of Topre domes smile.gif

Just a quick question. Is the corsair strafe not that good when compared to other keyboards?
Because as I have been reading in this forum, most of you guys have been using a lot more various types of keyboards.

So do you have any suggestions for me other than buying the Strafe, is there any other option which is better?

Thank you in advance

"Gaming" keyboards are considered tacky and overpriced in the Mechanical Keyboard community. There's nothing wrong with them, of course, but they're almost always limited to linear switches ie. Brown, Red.
