QUOTE(Quazacolt @ May 4 2016, 09:56 AM)
I was actually looking at the corner exit,  and I originally thought it was just the tire that hopped/slide initially.
However after reviewing the video,  it was just plain simple newbie mistake of misjudging the corner sad.gif

Bike damage,  generally really fucked up fairings,  and my foot peg bracket broke (so my bike has no rear brake functionality now lol)

Was on Komine riding pants,  full leather.
The pants turned out fine aside minor abrasion from the gravel surface.
Which was surprising on both the boots/pants considering how much scrape/scratches my helmet and visor sustained from all the flying gravel /rocks.

My leg was also caught under the bike momentarily,  however thanks to the soft gravel surface,  and that it rained earlier to further loosen the ground,  manage to pull my leg out within a few seconds towards the end of the video where I stood back up.

Wow pity you. What is that so many things on your top clamp? Remove all unnecessary including your mirror ranting.gif
Out of the pit you already you wallop the corner bangwall.gif You use tyre warmer?
Tyre pressure is very very important. For road not they are not same for track. I keep my SC2 28F 24R on cold for track use.
Check with track sifu for your tire type and always do 1 warming up lap before you start knee dragging.

If you are really into single rear arm type, the older Duc 796 is far better than 800 Brutale.

my riding mate is riding MV Agusta F3. Everytime he come back from a long distance journey, there must be something broken. Believe it or not. I will stay away from MV Agusta anytime. There must be a reason a company went bankrupt.

If you are into Single Sided Swing Arm
- 796 S2R
- Hypermotard 821/Hyperstrada 821. Pretty cheap now as they are clearing stock, making way for new hyper series
- any BMW with Boxer engine. Start from RnineT

meanwhile talking about maintanance, this is my first 1000km service for S1000RR 2015/16 model. I was comparing this with my mates japanese litre and they are surprised that BMW is not that high in maintanance, even sending it in to authorized dealer

More or less same unit price with my local BMW SC. Maybe this is your 1st service so free labour charge. Standard labour charge is about 250 per hour.

waht's the last item? running check?

rm 198

Its like OBD for full diagnose. This also include service interval reset so no service due indicator on your dash.

This is the most perfect in its class. Just lack of bling available on Daytona R. I wonder also why the QS is an option in this R model. Btw, this bike is very light and thrill to ride. Hardly broke down compare to Ducati laugh.gif

Hi guys, any yamaha MT 09 owners here? I want to ask how much is the engine oil capacity for MT09? Did some googling, there's some measurements one is 2.4L (without EO filter changed), 2.7L (With EO filter changed) and then from HLYM website stating 3.4L . hmm.gif . Pardon for the noob question blush.gif

How many liters as in owner's manual? Google workshop manual for the specific year of the bike

got fake 1 de meh? how to differentiate ori and fake? sifu teach please

Now many fake exhaust made by Indon. And price is with ecu? ECU is not cheap and most new exhaust system come with up map key only.
Better get from Yamaha and send/install/dyno anywhere as you like. See also if you can get from overseas dealer or alternative like from Graves etc.

Not sure about service cost, but i heard RM80 per hour for labour. Also I heard service interval could be frequent like Ducati. unsure.gif

Triumph Foremen is Om Puteh.. and they charged as per Authorized SC, per hourly rate. Triumph need to service every 10K and amount around 500 to 700 Rm and every 20k KM Valve clearance check. Cost around 1200 Rm... on the every 20k Km..

That's what the Fastbike told me regardless on which model of triumph..
*
Mine and most newer Ducati service intervals is at every 12k
At 12k would be around 800-1200rm. Timing belt replacement complete with new tensioner could be about 2k.
My sifu DIY timing belt replacement for me recently tongue.gif

Yes, it's visible on the left - front side of the tank. Look at the fork, you can see it if you're facing the bike. Looks like heatsink.

For my CBU unit, it's Ducati (stamped) rectifier. One otai replaced for RM600.
*
Ducati rectifier? hmm.gifshakehead.gif
Among most common problem with Ducatis (1198 and older) are the oem rectifiers.
The best upgrade is mosfet type rectifier. Im using Shindengen FH020AA kit with Triumph harness from here. Can ask them (Jack) anything about your rectifier problem even if you are not buying from him tongue.gif

Bro,
All this aftermarket mirror and lever thingy are not necessary and money wasting. Unless you broke it, keep it stock.

QUOTE(mazda6mps @ Aug 10 2016, 12:03 AM)
Haha...so coincidence you guys mentioned batteries and so happen I was also kepoh-ing on google about lithium iron batteries. But their prices are quite steep.

http://www.shorai.com.sg/
https://www.facebook.com/wstandard.lithiumbattery/

Not sure which way to go. Any of you guys or frens have this installed?
*
Get shorai and the bms. 3 years warranty with 1 to 1 exchange. The bms can be used for all shorai batteries. For a liter bike the battery only is about 800-900rm

QUOTE(rahncoe @ Aug 10 2016, 07:24 AM)
Never have the pleasure to use these types of battery... IMHO... these lithium based batteries are usually catered for racer or frequent track user as weight saving is a priority and the cost is not a primary concern. For normal bike user, I think is more recommended for Ducati owners and other bike owner that use the sprag clutch system for the starter. As sprag clutch wear increase significantly with non-optimum battery voltage.

Broken sprag clutch is a nightmare bangwall.gif bangwall.gif
