Yup, running MIUI 7 Global 6.3.18 | Beta. So far 5 hours of screen and 1 day plus on battery without battery sver mode.

To be honest, I was a little bit skeptical at first but after experiencing the battery life, I must say that I am impressed. I am not a heavy gamer though I do play some games; subway surfer kind of genre. I am more on business side if that matters; emails, phone calls, message, web surfing, navigation, ebooks and music.

Lucius <3, may I know have u reviewed Mi3 before? Would u think that Redmi Note 3's camera is an upgrade from Mi3?

wanting to buy a dual sim phone, but afraid the camera is a downgrade from my current Mi3.

A couple of things from my 2-3 hours of usage:
1. YouTube always crash. Anyone know why?
2. Battery life is good. From purchase (full bar) till now still has 3/4 batt
3. Brightness sometimes simply2 go from dark to bright and vice versa. What's up with that ya?
4. How to know if mine is the Snapdragon variant or not?

Does ur camera is 16 or 13mp? Does ur 2nd sim can put a micro sd card?

3 : Perhaps you set auto brightness become like that.
4 : Download Antutu CPU Z or Antutu Benchmark

When i ask the shop to insert my celcom I think the sim tray can put 2 Sims not SD card

Keep the mi3 as dedicated camera. Saves battery, right?

Then what's the point of buying a dual sim phone. Dun wanna carry 2 phones or 1 phone + mobile wifi. leceh la. 

Maybe when go holiday or oversea use back Mi3 for it's camera. 

Lol. Now we just have to confirm the SD variant camera quality. since the hardware is supposed to be better, right?

MIUI is very confusing on their firmware.  I google MIUI v7.2.3.x, some said it was Lollipop and some said it was actually a Marshmallow.

Yea. Been reading that the SD variant uses Samsung Isocell S5K3P3. Which is the camera sensor used by Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge.

But then S6 and S6 Edge some models use Samsung Isocell S5K3P3, some use Sony IMX240. Results show that both camera sensor is equally good.

So by right Redmi Note 3 camera quality should be on par with S6/S6 Edge. Unless Xiaomi screw up the postprocessing like Sony. Been reading reviews that the camera on Redmi Note 3 Pro is just ok.
