i'm thinking of getting an extractor vacuum or wet/dry vacuum for car interior cleaning, what brand is recommended? preferable to be portable / lightweight + decent power

Usually people in the industry uses Karcher Puzzi, but if you are looking something affordable, there are some options out there, for example this "Iris Ohyama Rinser Cleaner RNS-300". If you dig around in shopee, a lot of these affordable machines around, search for keyword : fabric upholstery cleaner.

I do not know how they perform, but for this you can always search for reviews on youtube. Like the Iris Ohyama cleaner seems to have quite a few youtube reviews around. Have a look to see if it fits your needs.

Hope this helps smile.gif

Hi guys,

Anyone can provide correct steps to apply cushion foam?

I sprayed one layer of car cushion foam then used wet microfiber cloth to wipe down 2-3x. Then left to dry. This is the result. Now I can make whatever mark with my hand or microfiber. Where did I go wrong? Please help. 😭😭😭

Not sure how is your process, but can consider watching and following the below Youtube video (first half). Can substitute the detailing brush with a microfibre cloth if you dont't have one.

Hey guys, good news for me. They have installed power point at my condo car wash bay.

Please recommend me polish buffer machine and material required. I'm a total newbie and what I need to do :

1. Polish
2. Put on IGL EZ Coat

My normal wash would be IGL Wash, car previously coated with IGL EZ, but now already worn off. Body is rough and no longer smooth.

White color car, so far paint still don't have swirl mark, but there are watermark on roof and hood, very bad, I have used IGL Ecoclean Delete on them, only work partly.
*
My simple recommendations :

-Dont immediately jump to polish with machine & DIY ceramic coat your car. We go back to basics first.

-Buy clay bar to solve car paint being rough. Any brand is ok but I personally would avoid cheap 3M ones. Watch youtube on how & when to use clay bars. Can try to use diluted car shampoo as lubricant to save money.

-White cars will get black stains or turn yellow easily, advisable to get 'all purpose cleaners' type of products to clean these. If you want to save money, Sunlight dish soap diluted 1:4 with water & stored in a spray bottle works well to spot clean black stains.

-Protection products : Important to invest in a good branded spray sealant product to protect your car after cleaning. This helps keep your car cleaner for longer and avoid dirt from 'becoming too stubborn'.

-The above should be the sufficient to maintain your car, can try these out first then only go to the next level to do polishing if required.

Enjoy the process smile.gif

what car shampoo you guys are currently using?

i finished my OSREN's Nano Wax and found out that they have already discontinued the product and only left with the Bubble & Wax which i find it much to be desired. i paired it with a foam lance (MJJC) and the Karcher K.2050 and it's watery and weak. at 1:9 dilution, it is practically unusable and is only passable at 1:4.

previously with the Nano Wax, 1:10 gives off a very thick and satisfying foamy sud. almost no way to get it with the Bubble & Wax - the only upside is that it's affordable.
*
Sounds about right as OSREN's bubble & wax should be a less concentrated shampoo judging by it's dilution ratio compared to the good old Nano Wash. There's another thing you can do to get thicker foam from your current setup, which is to change the foam cannon orifice size.

Your MJJC foam cannon might already provide your with an extra smaller sized orifice that you can try, if not then you can consider buying one, i recommend this seller, can message the seller for advice on which size best suits you.

Anyone got recommendations for acid car wash?
For monthly usage due to park outdoor waterspot.

Carpros descale bit expensive
Kcx reactivation decent price, jz looking for alternatives
*
Using acid car shampoo for waterspot monthly is a bit extreme, also you dont mean those black lines right? it's the rain spot marks, right?

I'd say prevention is better than cure : I'd recommend using a decent spray sealant to protect & prevent stubborn waterspots rather than using acid car shampoo monthly.

Thing is nearby got condo in construction, dust combine with morning dew anyhow also will have beads form into waterspot.

Also need to reactivate my coating, so might as well lol. See how it goes , if less rain maybe jz 2 month once. These 2 are coating safe also, jz checking are there any similar option out there
*
I see. In the market currently these are the only 2 acidic car shampoo.

There is another option which is to use the common "Watermark Remover" product out there, it's much more affordable but it has it's risks as they are usually quite strong acid, you need to know what you're doing with it.

I still do strongly recommend aapply spray sealant on your coated car afterwards, it does help reduce stubborn waterspots and stains.

Any intro for spray sealant?
*
I tend to use more osren products so I'll recommend their paintwork coat / Hydro Ceramic Shield, but similar products from any reputable brands should work fine as well.

regarding using 'watermark remover' products on coated car, you can refer to this Youtube video, hope this helps.
