QUOTE(Jay Chua CC @ Jul 30 2020, 02:18 PM) wonder why they dont display all the products in the online store. I think i can answer this and hopefully it answers the why-s everyone is having. But in the their demo videos, they straight spray the undiluted coating on the car. So should I dilute it 1:1 first or straightaway use? economically speaking, ofc dilute is better, but will the effects be the same? Ideally osren wants to move to that direction, however the business started as a b2b approach, hence why there are professional range and luminous (enthusiast range) Professional range is targetted at prosumers, doesn't make sense to sell in small packaging which is actually more e-commerce friendly (20L for shipping is holy cow price), and professional range requires servicing of b2b which ensures LTV of buyers. The very least, a demonstration and after sales service. Basically, an entirely different approach in terms of b2b. Hence, professional range isn't in a position where it would benefit our approach even though it would generate more sales. You know the Hengs emphasise a lot on after sales service. The auto detailing service industry in Malaysia still requires a lot of awareness and enlightenment, and where human skills are involved, many things can go wrong even with the right products. So professional range, better to build the brand through user experience than availability first lot. After all business is about duplication, later bad experience duplicated but product easily available also don't make sense. Luminous range is meant for enthusiasts and weekend warriors, 4L of nano wash also dah group buy lol...and isn't commerce friendly. And its tweaked to make sure its effortless to use; as in no need that much in depth of steps or awareness involved. Purchasing behavior of end users and prosumers are also entirely different and requires different resources of different men and technology to ensure that user experience is inline with the brand. All in all, there are many factors that osren do consider, we do hear feedbacks and inputs and need time to grow la hahaha. I want to ask, taiping what is nice to do there? or makan place must visit? Going up next week cuti cuti Malaysia eh. |

QUOTE(Jay Chua CC @ Jul 30 2020, 04:20 PM) But in the video, it doesn't specify whether to dilute or not. I guess you just straight use without diluting? And any major difference bewtween M Ceramic wax and OSren coat? 1:1 can be used as weekly topperFor the nigh safari, the last time i went is around 10 years ago. ntg much. I'm more of a person to use neat cause neat has better longevity |

QUOTE(capsulr @ Aug 3 2020, 06:44 PM) I'm so sad, clay bar didn't help remove water spots on my car, smoother but not wow level of difference, and got scratches 😠I don't know why people here recommends claying for waterspots.....it doesn't make sense. ![]() Minerals are not removable with Clay. Even for water stains, clay isn't the right solution. Use paint cleaner next time. Waliuuu and woodentiger86 liked this post

QUOTE(woodentiger86 @ Aug 14 2020, 11:15 AM) Thanks for the sharing bro SLK. Neither do I. It's more important to look at the fibres as open fibres are better at picking residual and twisted and or looped are better at absorbing water. Usually I don't pay attention to the weight... so technically, in a nutshell, the more gsm, the more plush the towel should feel, correct? We don't use a m/f flat or as it is. 90% of the time, folded. With each fold, the m/f gets plushier. Too plush also not great at picking up cause fibres are not directly contacting the surface And doing its job. woodentiger86 liked this post

QUOTE(SilentForever @ Aug 29 2020, 11:38 PM) Hey guys, need some advice on how to reduce deep watermarks on the windshield. My car had to be parked outside almost all the time and I noticed when raining everytime the wiper pass through the screen, it will leave a haze that shows water streaks that looked like water flowing down etched into the glass. This makes visibility very poor and dangerous and tiring to drive. So I am planning to polish it off with my remaining glass polish. Other than that, can a glass coating/water repellent product help in minimizing the effect as there are less water to baked on the glass after it rains? Can sifus here recommend me any products with durability? Thanks! I planned to try osren but osren hq recently stopped shipping to east malaysia and distributors here charged outrageous prices so its really unfortunate. I curi send to you la, don't tell anyone haha |

QUOTE(tsg_7 @ Sep 25 2020, 11:02 PM) Guys, not sure whether is the right place to post here. No it won't. Glass won't turn yellow. Toughened/tempered glass especiallyIm thinking to put something like RainX on windscreen & glass related but last time i heard substance / liquid like RainX may cause your glass / windscreen turn yellowish after sometime once you stop apply it. Anyone facing this issue before? Or any brand can recommend that it wont turn glass into yellowish? Thanks sifus This post has been edited by douglas_tong: Sep 25 2020, 11:19 PM |

QUOTE(blurcase @ Jan 3 2021, 03:14 PM) Actually been thinking of going back to rotary for some time liao. I know and experience myself that DA definitely finishes easier, but have heard of many old sifus that could finish as equally good as DA even before the emergence of DA into mainstream. Having both DA and rotary experience myself, I always found DA's biggest weakness to be lack of interchangeability of pad sizes when needed. Let's try wei. Challenge rotary with honda black paintBesides, after moving to condo, cant use my main rupes DA liao, and to detail the entire car with ibrid alone most likely will kill it, so decided to sell them both while they still had value and was in good working condition. Now hunting for a reasonably priced cordless rotary to fit condo use and try to rediscover the true sifu secrets to rotary finishing. |
