One question guys, which band does ham use? What is the furthers range that anyone had personally tried?

dude, u got to read some of the post here first ... Ham = HF/VHF/UHF

furthest? depends on antenna and Tx power la ... knows someone who uses a colinear 5watt cheras can reach indon ... this is on vhf ...

hf tak yah cakap la ... minimum Tx, Japan and India tutup sebelah mata la ...

I've tried to read about the technical aspect of HAM but I can't seem do get any in wiki.

So for HAM the most important thing is Tx power? How about Rx sensitivity?
