Haha or you wanna test me. http://www.mikezulu.com/angle.htm here is a good explanation about angle of radiation. 1/4 wave is known for its high take off angle so I would use it for hitting repeaters. For simplex performance I would go for a 5/8 mobile antenna as the take off angle is much much lower. Almost horizontal maybe?

If they really pass the exam then I think they will get their 9M in time to sign yours.. They are nice people unlike some otai that think they are so great with their 9M. Some even take chance to collect funds..

From my point of view, whenever some newbies is trying to get some signature (which is pointless), some clubs will put a big piggy bank in front of you.. Some will just pass you their membership form and call you to fill up.. You blur blur fill and then they ask for membership fee already. How to reject in that newbie situation?
