for my setup, mobile i'm used VR7 + handy icom V8...for base i'm currently used homebrew antenna astra, some says antenna kaki ayam or antenna 5/8...previously i'm using homebrew double zepp.....both antennas good performances for simplex.... rclxms.gif

okey... if u hv more budget, take a diamond antenna.. more gainer..

but, supercall or others is ok too..
i hv 1 diamond, 1 supercall, 1 quaterwave supercall & 1 AutoOne VR4 for mobile biggrin.gif

for base, take F22 or F23(dualband).. de popular one.. biggrin.gif

but, interested in homebrew antenna? email me at 9w2sjg@gmail.com,

then i send u the diagram for antenna like my base.. biggrin.gif

i see. Wow there is like 4 antenna's all mobile ? I have heard quite a lot about supercall, but i havent personally hear any reviews from the owner itself.

try 101S, more wider range, if i not mistaken from 117-170..

but, if more budget.. try SG2000 la.. hehe.. true diamond style.. biggrin.gif

SG2000.

Super Gainer Series are quite pricey. but they are good, thats what i heard from people and reviews.

Anyone a SG users here ?

yup... agreed... very good performance gainer on dBi.. me currently using SG7900 with ft8800 biggrin.gif

basicaly its to Tx only ...

but yeah if according to the law, you will need a license to Tx, Rx and to own such equipment.
