do u practise turning ur master volume knob to zero before switching it off?

From wut i read sometime ago; 2&4 pu selection of a SSS config selects dual single coils. Emulating a humbucker.

well maybe u should give it a try.. and when it begins buzzing, try turning all the knobs to zero(including ur guitar volume knob) and idle it for a while. Maybe 2 minutes or so.

Btw what amp are u using? and what guitar are u using?
ur avatar shows an ibanez with dual humbucker config - means minimal buzzing
so it should be a big problem if u experience extream buzzing.

how big is ur amp? 10watt? 15watt? 30watt?
whats the PU configuration of ur PRS? SSS (single coil,single coil,single coil)? HSS(humbucker,single coil,single coil)?

is ur humbucker hissing? or just ur singlecoils?
btw did the method work?
