Thank you for the fan list Doom.I am actually plan to get a silent fan to replace my power supply fan.The power supply that I'm currently using was Enermax FMA 350W which build with 2 fans.It stated with adjustable 8cm fan. Please help me to look whether both fans are 8 cm through the picture. If there are 2 fans how do I replace them ? I know someone will suggest me get a new power supply but up until now not even one person can suggest me a good quiet/silent PSU. I have been asking around http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/617636 but not even one forumer can confirm 80-90% for a silent power supply. They just reply "try this and that PSU but they haven't use before even ST56F having buzzing noise.I don't want to regret after wasting RM300 for a PSU which is not silent. Now I just plan to open the PSU and change the fan , but I am know nothing about changing PSU fan hoping someone can suggest a silent fan and also guiding me through how to replace a Dual PSU fan.Budget for both fans RM0 - RM 120 MAX , PSU RM0 - RM 330MAX hoping for less than RM100 both fan and less then RM 260 for PSUThank you

Thank you , I am very happy to know someone which really a silent computer fan.I really hope to have a silent power supply. The only computer I approch before is Dell computer at office which is completely silent. It's an old Dell PC Dimension 4500 which is black in color. The PSU almost near to silent even at night.
I hope to build a silent pc and I am quite sensitive with noise.RM60 for Noctua and Scythe is kind of expensive.I remember last time buying a Cooler master 12cm tri blade which I felt being cheated buying at RM45. Right now I have 2 choices.1st get a silent PSU hoping I'm chosen it correctly which cost RM3++, 2nd buy a new silent fan which cost RM 80-100
I am now still confuse which option I should choose. If I the PSU isn't silent I wasted RM 3++ and I didn't know how to change the PSU fan.

QUOTE(Doom @ Apr 10 2008, 09:32 PM) CFM means cubit feet per minute .. put it simple it refers to amount of airflow generated within the same amount of time ... usually higher mean it could pushes more air through and effective distance is longer as well. Oh ,thanks , but 700 RPM really that low ? as I know even my house ceiling fan spinning 5 times per second already can few the airflow. If 700 means 700 times in one second sure a lot of airflow. I know computer casing fan is different but I think isn't that much right ? Really plan to buy a silent fan with cheaper price.
