QUOTE(clivengu @ Feb 6 2017, 02:55 PM) Want to ask advice from those who has built Daban PG Phenex/unicorn , is it really difficult to assembly the unicorn head? The one that connect the back head piece with the upper head piece... I spend whole night still couldnt figure out ... I check video of ppl assembly d bandai one.. it seems to be able to "click" in place easily.. and hold firmly. But I hv no luck and a bit worry my led cable will broken if I keep forcing it.. i cut this part, making it like MG unicorn, solved the problem |

QUOTE(clivengu @ Feb 10 2017, 06:05 PM) I thought I solved it, but when I transform the head, the pieces came falling apart...So I take your advice and cut off the part... and now it is much much easier to install. Glad to help some members in here,Look like I will end up keeping it in Destroy mode too... Not that I dislike Unicorn mode, but seems like I am about to break a lot of parts. I actually broke the small shoulder thing that needs to pop out when transform to Destroy mode. So Now I will have to super glue it in place.... First time I superglue it, and realise the position i glued are wrong and the transformation couldnt close perfectly. I force open the part again, and use the technique mf_yamato recommend... and I think it works now.. But Seriously transformation is a nightmare waiting for parts to be broken... I wonder if this will happen to original Bandai? as for the build experience, C clamp for a clear part is super bad, clear part are not flexible enough to do C clamp joint as for unicorn, even worse with the transformation.. broke mine few C clamp joints, especially on the small shoulder part, but I just use blue tack to not permanently fix it. |

just got chance to assemble Daban SF..
damn, assembly issue is satisfying... usually I trim the peg to snapfit it, but this kit, nope, from runner straightaway snapfit... I'm surprised that the plated part have a nice snug fitting, usually for sure need to trim down the peg, but not this kit... and the joints were just nice, not too hard and not too loose... damn daban.. more of this quality please.... |

QUOTE(clivengu @ May 14 2017, 11:54 PM) I need some guide here with my Daban PG Phenex.. I almost want to crash and throw the whole kit away.... The only issue i have for pg phenex is the head, others is ok....I am building the kit with LED, so assembly is a bit complicated.. Now I try to put the whole shoulder & arms into the torso.. but even with elephant strength, I couldn't get it to goes in. Is this a common problem with the kit? I tried both left & right joints, also same. I couldn't really see what is going internally , so I can't figure out which area it stucks at, and which part I should sand it down for it to works. Any advice? I will not even be thinking about transforming it once I am done with this kit. It does look very good.. I just hope there is no disastrous damage before I finish it:( |

QUOTE(Farlz_89 @ Jun 1 2017, 02:33 PM) Hi guys..this is first time i wanna try DABAN@DM kit..before this buy B*NDAI brand only PG is perfect for minor detailing and straight build.I plan to buy DM PG Unicorn. Compare with Daban PG Unicorn which one is more ok? How about quality for this kit? I'm prefer to do straight build & just put minor detailing only. Since i'm noob in painting & air brush(+ need to buy an equipment if need to do it) |
