I seldom build coated kits, so I seldom use these. Will try and find tamiya's to try. If I'm not wrong, the coated gold shld b similar to Hyaku Shiki and DM Akatsuki right? If tamiya's blend well with them, I think it wouldn't b a problem with the Phenex.
Nah, it's different from the one used in Akatsuki and Hyaku. Tamiya gold leaf is bright yellowish (but still is better than Sharpie 'gold' if you're going for bright gold.
The one I ever came close to produce near identical result to the electroplated piece was Bosny Copper Gold on gloss black base, but I have been searching for that spray paint for two years and still couldn't find any store that still sells it
DM got a good first batch bonus for DM PG Unicorn.
Kit Contents: UNICORN GUNDAM HYPER BAZOOKA X 2 BEAM GATLING GUN X2 SHIELD X 2 HYPER BEAM JAVELIN X2 BEAM SABER X 4 RIFLE X1 LED UNIT X 1SET REMOTE CONTROL X1 BASE X1
daban MBSF.....everything good except the shoulder.
Over stylized design. SF should be very sleek, but this MB is totally not with all those jagged accents. Still prefer the original MBSF, very classy yo.

this MB is fix figure, or model kit like the DM destny?
The Destiny was only using the MB design. Metal Build has always been pre-built figures.
Momoko teased a snap-build MB style SF as well before but I am not sure how they will differentiate since Daban overtook them or maybe they wont release that (unless they already spent money on the molds)
Well, in the end DM Unicorn > Daban Unicorn. Still got hope for DM SF since they already released DM Destiny.
plating. the photo is a straight build without any painting. see the rifle...no color separation for blue part.

Not sure whether I should get this or not (already got the B* MBSF), I guess I'll wait for DM version as well to see whether it is worth it to get either one, custom paint maybe.
It is providence gundam. People are hating the proportion and block/square design but nah, I like it. IT will be a brick but as long as it can stand there beautiful, I am okay.
I don't think people hate the original qualities of a kit design. Providence design cues are like the Hi-Nu, bulky with small head, it is what fans appreciate.
