erm..btw i found a panasonic mp3 player with remote model no. Panasonic CQ-C1333.What do you guys think bout this ? Is panasonic okay or so so ? Well with installation the player is about RM399.

from my survey, panasonic player isn't that good, somemore that is lower end one. if your budget can reach Rm 600 i recommend you buy eclipse one, sound very clear. pioneer one is more on functionality and features, but not good for sound quality.

what speaker r u using ?

yo eric..sorry for the late reply..im using oem kancil speaker..no budget to get aftermarket one.Well i got three options for now

1.Panasonic - Rm400
2.Pioneer DEH-2850MP -RM 440
3.Pioneer DEH-2950MP- RM ??? (470?)

all include installation

All HU for normal listener only...
SQ might not good enough..

ya. you increase your budget abit, get eclipse CD-1000 (RM 600, dono where to get? ask me ) which i'm using. it's clearer than those you listed.

hold on, b4 that wanna ask you whether r u serious in your ICE setup or not ? or you just plan to get a CD/mp3 player which replace your stock one and jus t that for long time? if this is the case, then pioneer 2950 ok edi lor. it matches your stock speakers.

if you plan to change one by one by the time going, then you shoud get a better HU first and then change speaker, amp, woofer etc.

im not so serious in the setup coz i dont drive the car im going install the player in.Its for my fiancee actually...thats why im goin with budget player.just wanna listen to music while driving thats all

the shop name is "Speed" located at jelutong. remember the tight one lane flyover near green land there ? after it just go straight and it's on your right. he sold me at RM 600 for CD1000. a good shop recommended, but not really for the installation skill ...

Not only that shop "Speed" have Eclipse HU,
Alpha also got sale but they need oder loh because they don't keep stok.

i am interested too ... but also looking for a shop known for good service and good installation skills
i bring my own components tho (my bro gets them for me from overseas)
quality and durability of installation more important than pricing ..
