Hi guys, is it possible get Atmos on A7400F? As on the TV spec, it only support DD+ encoding.

If...let's say i hook HT that support Atmos... can the TV pass trough the Atmos to the HT? Or the HT will still produce normal 5.1ch DD+?

Decoding, not encoding. Via Dolby itself.

So if you're buying any TV with ARC and you have a Dolby Atmos receiver, the receiver is the center where everything is connected.

4K BD/Media Player -> Receiver <- ARC-> TV

From streaming apps on the TV and through ARC, you're getting Atmos via DD+. Streaming apps obviously uses lossy version of Atmos. Lossless Atmos starts at 6 Mbps.

From 4K BDs connected directly to the receiver, provided the BDs have Atmos/DTS-X, you're getting the full bandwidth audio.

Allrighty...Thanks for clarification... Actually i'm planning to buy HT.. But not sure which one to choose..either HT with DAtmos or just normal HT With DD 5.1...
Just scared if take Atmos, the TV couldn't decode such signal and send it to HT... Anyway, Thanks ya~ rclxms.gif
