I realize if you revert from beta to stock software. Your Photos library becomes corrupted. And unrecoverable. 6 years worth of memories is gone 😔

Buy iCloud subscription? It's not expensive and that's what I do.

Yes it is

Method 1:
1TB model - http://store.mcetech.com/mm/merchant.mvc?S...1TBPCIESSD-2015

256Gb model - http://store.mcetech.com/mm/merchant.mvc?S...BPCIESSD-L13M14

Method 2:
Search for your MBP model, e.g a rMBP 13" 2014 model has model A1502. Search on eBay for A1502 SSD and you get tonnes of options to change it.
Works the same for the 2015 models.

Here is another alternative, soon to be released by OWC.

The drive isn't as fast as the stock PCIE SSD.

Hi everyone, I'm getting a MacBook Pro 13" with Retina display, I don't know whether to get 128GB or 256GB flash storage then later on upgrade it, and 500+ GB is like 8k so it's not happening. Anyone here got their early 2015 MacBook Pro with Retina Flash storage upgrade before? May I know where to upgrade and around how much? Thank you.

Hi, We have the upgrades. The latest version of SSD upgrading have not released yet as there are still warranty, so it is not recommended. the price range should be around 2K-3K

If we upgrade the SSD to bigger size (original apple SSD) it will void the warranty or not? What I means is warranty for other part such screen etc.

I believe all the rMBP after 2012 using PCIe slots. So no more HDD slots. So answer is no. You cannot do it. Plus there is no super drive slot to remove too.

can easily sync all kind of files to iCloud drive kah ? like those weird and long file names also can ? hmm.gif

Planning to subscript for a year, my Box only allows max upload 250mb per file size puke.gif

I've never tried syncing long file names but everything I have is being stored in iCloud, working perfectly without issues biggrin.gif

If that's the case, you will still need to buy space in iCloud isn't it? biggrin.gif

With the new mac OS Sierra coming, having more space on iCloud is becoming more logical. Whats a decent amount of space to subscribe to especially now that I just have 128Gb of space and am constantly figuring out how to get more space hahaha.

If someone has multiple Apple devices and serious about using the full iCloud capabilities, there's no doubt they have to buy that storage space. It's really a matter of convenience and making sure we have all our data backed up.
