the MZD connect under Lightning got one option called "Headlight Sensitivity", is it the sensitivity to turn on the headlight when i switch to AUTO? or is the high beam sensitivity?

and the user manual seems like dont have guide for MZD Connect sweat.gif
*
It's for auto headlight, not high beam.

I did tried driving until no more fuel bar left before and the range estimator showing zero km, yet the car still running like normal. Freaking fuel anxiety until i reached petrol station, but when i pump, managed to put in about 45L. Meaning, when no fuel bar left, possibly still got 5L left  sweat.gif

Only faced this situation once, will replicate a few times to confirm it is not the fuel level sensor not finished calibration. Really missed the super accurate fuel tank indicator of my old vios...
*
My feel is that there's a reserve of 5L from when the range reaches 0.
This is how I estimate: [ Avg consumption (L/100km) x Range/100 ] +5L
Should tell you how much fuel you have left in your tank.
So far it has been quite accurate for both my M3 and MX-5.

anyone tried to turn off air con while driving, then when you accelerate hard or driving above 50km/h you can feel there are aircon coming out from the vent although the air con is off and during 100km/h the air blowing will get stronger and not to mention the air is cold too hmm.gif
*
That is your a/c being in fresh air intake mode and not recirculate. It draws air from the outside. Try it behind a garbage truck tongue.gif

Whether the air is hot or cold depends on your temperature setting. If turned to hot, I think it just draws the heat from your engine.

my AC is on which is set to 28c, but the fan knob is off which will turn off AC and the fan, by right it should not have any air coming out of the vent hmm.gif
*
If you're on recirculate (left mode), no air will come out of the vent. If you fart in the car, it'll go on stinking.

If you're on fresh (right mode), air will come out of the vent, drawn from outside.

so even if i turn the fan to OFF position it will still draw air into the cabin? not to mention the air is cold shocking.gif

i'm on full auto mode, it will switch between recirculate and external, i only off fan (which turn off AC as well) before i off the car
*
If you turn your fan to OFF but leave in Fresh mode, yes it'll still draw air in. Switch to Recirculate if you don't want this to happen.
Whether the air is hot or cold depends on the outside temperature and also on your a/c temperature setting.

and how do we turn off passenger airbag? is it auto off when the load on passenger seat is less than 40kg?
*
Should say in your owner's manual.

*
Press the info up/down button on the steering?

i will remember the moment when you tailgating a BMW 535 and i was cruising at your rear

Believe me, a Mz3 doesn't tailgate a BMW *35 - the Bimmer driver is merely not in a hurry laugh.gif

Exactly, and im surprised there is still stock for 2015 cars as my SA said otherwise. Is there a way to tell from the car btw?
*
You can usually tell from the VIN, but to decode is typically a challenge.

The easier way would be to look at the bottom of the front seatbelts - there should be a label that tells you year of manufacture.

Also look at the date marked on the tyres - might give you an indication of how long it's been sitting in the showroom.

Anyway, just ask the SA they will know is which year made.

There's actually 2 type of so-called "year made"
The car could be made in Year 2015 (thus like you mentioned Seatbelt label have 2015 year made) but once registered, the grant might stat 2015 or 2016 depend on how the principal sort this out.
So the most easy way, ask SA.  rclxms.gif
*
I think the 2nd type you're referring to is registration year - like the case with recon cars, they're frequently quote 2 dates (10/15), the first being the build year and the latter when it was first registered in msia.
There is only 1 date when the car rolls off the factory floor smile.gif

I typically take with a pinch of salt what the SA says. I've come across SAs who weren't too sure themselves what they were trying to sell. Then there are SAs who promise you the moon, and then give you a world of excuses when you ask for your deposit back.

Sure there are good SAs in between, but it's important for the buyer to be prepared and well-informed themselves too.

Hi Guys,

Has anybody updated their M3's navigation map via the method mentioned in the FAQ on the 1st page?

I checked with my SC about updating my M3's navigation map by myself ( as it showed me driving on the water as I crossed the 2nd Penang Bridge :-)  but they said, nooo! I have to bring the car in to the SC and they will update the SD card for me, for free.

As I was going to pass by their place this afternoon, I did just that. The technician said they have been given a software by Mazda to update the maps and do not know anything about DIY map updates.
*
The last time I asked SC to update the map for me, they asked me to go back make my own account and update myself laugh.gif

Anyway, I update my own maps. Simple and painless affair.

I encountered this smell on my MX-5. Went away after around 1500-2000km.

More like a MX-5 fan laugh.gif

The 3 was just the most sensible car within this price range. No complains at all!

Clock'ed 60,000 Soon =( Anyone using PS3 Michelin.. Any comment for this tyre?
*
I was previously comparing between PS3 and F1Assy2.

Went with the Goodyear - slightly cheaper, but hot damn it was excellent rubber.

Definitely worth considering if you're looking at that price point.
