+ they wont accept even you willing to pay or insist them to repair , i cant find those statement mentioning " they will accept other then sea sets / official products for repair but you must pay for it " at playstation malaysia website T&C and FAQ section   
+ i've heard gamers solution at pertama complex provide PS4 repair service , shop - 03 - 26977728 or benard 012 - 3783129

the difference , just the warranty ... only south east asia sets ( malaysia , singapore , thailand , philippines , indonesia & vietnam ) got this " regional warranty " services https://asia.playstation.com/my/en/regional_warranty

Bros my ps4 kaput. Can boot but cannot display video. Ayam sad. Any estimation how much to fix? Or shops to recommend? I saw in US site, it's about 150 Usd in the centers, anyone fixed before? Should be hdmi port faulty la..  Thanks

Have you tried booting to safe mode already? https://support.us.playstation.com/articles.../Safe-Mode-PS4/

I mean like is there any difference physically between us set and sea set, that makes them doesn't want to do repairs even though I'm willing to pay for the service
a bit inconvenient this policy of theirs

physically no difference at all ... it just their policy , only SEA sets got this special warranty program ( regional warranty ) , other region stick to their own region for warranty claim and repairs

if you want,you can send it to heavyarm @ ss15, they can repair ps4.
