Well, IINM this Gold headset wasn't launch, sold and support officially by Sony MY in Malaysia
hence the Sony MY won't have any idea about their "unofficial" product

those you bought are mostly grey market imports from SG, HK and other sources, don't expect Sony MY will give you official warranty of something goes wrong with the headset.

But it's a great headset no doubt, kinda strange why Sony MY doesn't carry it despite the great demand.

Hey guys, I would like to ask if anyone has encountered this error (CE-35287-5 : Network error) for their PS recently? I've had that issue for a couple of weeks now and I cant seem to figure out the issue.

I called up Sony customer service and nothing is wrong on their end. He tried to use the 8.8.8.8 DNS and it didnt work as well. I've reset and restarted my router. I've updated my software. My Unifi is working because I can download the update files for various games. I even tried to connect to my phones hotspot just to see if it was Unifi issue and I still get the same error.

So I'm just wondering if anyone here has encoutered this issue recently and is there anyway to solve this? Any help would be appreciated!

a new PS is launching soon... but not sure how soon. anyways PS4 now will be around 1200-1300 or so. the new one probably will come in around >1600+ probably as will depend on sony malaysia pricing. maybe drop only later after a few months.

imho, i would just get the current PS4 as i dont have a 4k level tv, not going to get VR and you get to play games nao. otherwise wait few months, dunno how many months...

Because it's cheaper to buy old PS4s and salvage the PSU, Blu-ray drive, and HDD as repair parts than to get them from some unknown  China source.

First batch on the 10th. Second batch on 17th. After that it's December batch.

How many per batch? Anything from "not enough" to "nothing at all". The worse case scenario would be Sony Malaysia doing some shit online contest just like their 20th Anniversary PS4 and only allow selected winners to purchase only, to cover up for their inadequacy to get enough stock. While the rest of the world get the chance to actually buy them, even when they're limited editions.

For those wondering which SSHD to buy, the answer is: Seagate Firecuda SSHD.

Now, there is a problem to buying this SSHD though. There exists several SKUs of the Firecuda SSHDs, all of which has different specs.

So guys, TAKE EXTRA, EXTRA NOTE when you buy a Firecuda.
You want to make sure that the serial number is:

1TB drive - ST1000LX001
2TB drive - ST2000LX001

These 2 drives with the 'LX' prefix has 32GB of NAND where as the other models - M015 and M028 only has 8GB of NAND. That is a major difference. 8GB of NAND is simply not enough (nor even fast enough) to store games on the cache to take advantage of the flash memory. This has been proven in the past before. By right, we're already nearly in 2017 and NANDs on SSHD should be at least 64GB in space.

As a bonus the LX drives are also quieter than the M series drives.

All the LX and M series drives are classified as Firecuda drives, why? Ask Seagate.
So once again, PAY ATTENTION to which SSHD you are buying.

how to connect ps4 slim to external speaker?

I play using pc monitor, dont have build in speaker.
and I dont want to connect the speaker using ds4 port.
