the distributor doesnt takes in new brand just because of KLIAV.. sony is complicated as they have their brand rooted in malaysia with malaysia registered company unlike the other brand like Denon, Marantz that needs to be imported under distributorship.. if these set of AVR were to arrive i believe very likely it will be imported by Sony (Sony Electronic Malaysia Sdn Bhd) themselves.. i dont recall sony was part of KLIAV by a brand of their own

no experience with the combo but into Klipsch likely will get brighter treble with its horn tweeter but not sure with NS series u r using assuming that its NS-200.. that is a 3 way speaker compare to klipsch 2 way speaker.
might lose some frequency seperation advantage that you got from NS

in general your v6a should be able to drive klipsch. You may expect
1) brighter treble
2) bassier low
3) louder at the same vol point

Looks like your AVR is switching itself into protection mode? What was the pattern like long time loud playing (units get hot) and get off by itself or upon start then it turn off automatically?

would you be able to share what do you mean by floorstanders are tri-wired ?
