Just open up an account with any bank other than Maybank and get a debit/credit card. Ask their representative staff at the bank whatever you can use the card for online store purchases especially oversea purchases, if they confirm yes than just apply. No need to buy those overpriced top-up cards.

I have been using RHB and CIMB for years and there is no extra charges whatsoever when making purchase from Steam or other online stores. Quick and easy no bothering with waiting and redeeming online codes or all those bullshiet.

Maybe extra charge for CIMB CC only. Debit doesn't have it at least for me.
Or related to the type of account we have? No idea.

CIMB CC memang confirm got charge extra if it's an oversea transaction.

If they're ok with the extra Rm 8 for Rm50 steam wallet ,then let them be . Its their money not ours, I personally prefer to buy from trusted seller in this thread for some game .
