If it's RM299 until contract ends still RM299. I'm so going to get it  drool.gif

Actually it's easier to sign up for TM UniFi 100Mbps (provided you are on FTTH, NOT FTTB/VDSL2) compared to MaxisONE Home 100Mbps.

For Maxis, you must be on areas served by Maxis' own infrastructure (NOT riding on TM's infrastructure). To make matter worst, you must be also subscribed to at least MaxisONE 158 (mobile plan) to qualify! Not to mention, even the 20 & 30Mbps MaxisONE Home plans require you to be subscribed to at least MaxisONE 128 (mobile plan) to qualify.

This is really a disappointment as Maxis is NOT giving TM any competition at all - first of all, their pricing is more expensive than similar UniFi plans. On top of that, you have to subscribe to their expensive MaxisONE mobile plans to qualify, not to mention, many Maxis mobile subscribers, myself included, have ported to other telcos such as Celcom & DiGi for cheaper and better mobile plans!

Unifi is taking us for a ride. When will they make it more affordable to public? RM299/RM329 is expensive for all.

Why cant it be below RM200 ..#TMNUT

I hope the day will come TM works with JMB of existing condominiums to upgrade the infrastructure to FTTH instead of relying on copper (VDSL2).

Just now I accessed the VDSL2 modem admin and found out the attainable download rate is only about 55Mbps while upload is at about 19Mbps.

This means I cannot even upgrade to 50Mbps if I want to! Don't forget 8Mbps is needed for the IPTV service, and the 55Mbps available is not enough for that!

This package cheaper than mine
i add ruby and free call
209 per month
now these 199.
dont know can ask then to revise or not

better go TMpoint and ask.

Initially I was also 209 (with Ruby Pack) and free calls. But I went to request a RM20 discount (without free calls) so only pay RM189.

hey im staying in condo and technician mention i'm only entitled to 30mbps. the think is i do see my speed sometime going up much higher leading me to believe the condo infrastructure is capable of going up to 50mbps. has anyone here manage to persuade tm to allow a 50mbps upgrade at your condo?
*
Yesterday, I logged into my VDSL2 modem and noticed that the attainable speed is:
Downstream: about 55Mbps
Upstream: about 20Mbps

You may be getting better or worse than what I am seeing, subject to quality of wire and distance of wire to the MSAN.

What this means is, it is unlikely you can get 50Mbps. Take note that IPTV needs up to 8Mbps and this means to be on the safe side, you should have an attainable speed of more than 58Mbps for the download and more than 20Mbps for the upload, which is not really enough.

just called 100. For Unifi Pro 100, you need to change your modem. Not sure they are referring to only modem or router included. You can upgrade through online. But you need to have the new equipments beforehand, via 2 options, either self collect at TM point or they will deliver it to you. Basically it's just replacing, and don't require much alteration I guess. Any one subscribed? I have great intention though, is available in my area at Bukit Tinggi, Klang, assuming those that have 50Mbps currently, would be able to support.

If your router comes with FastEthernet LAN/WAN ports (100Mbps) then I don't think it works. You will never get the theoretical 100Mbps speed on such FastEthernet ports. Instead, you should be using a router with GigabitEthernet ports (1Gbps)

It depends on the agent. The RM500 is for the penalty. smile.gif
*
Not enough to cover the penalty. Still have penalty for HyppTV pack subscription (remaining months out of 12 months)

Is it normal for the router to get new IP every few hours? VDSL here
*
Check if your DSL light keeps going off and reconnecting (blinking) before reconnected (stable) every few hours.

Chances are your VDSL2 modem (BTU) is spoilt and you need call 100 for free replacement.
