we UniFi users still ok, some of my friend house, no fibre coverage, have to bear with Streamyx 4M @ RM140, really pity and frustrated after seeing Time Fibre RM149 for 100Mbps

i think they will revise to better plan, but may not offer 100/300/500Mbps package like Time Fibre

because high rise building is A LOT in KL / Penang, those rural area in Malaysia may still using ADSL, they will lost quite a number of customers... soon or later they will feel the pain, + nowadays less people make local call

28Mbps is close enough.. They won't be bothered.. More so if thats the speed you are getting over Wifi.. Probably means that full speed is achievable over an ethernet connection.
Well that's your take.. Technology won't be what it is today if advancements were not made and everyone simply sat & accepted their fate. When the black & white TVs came out, should we have stopped there? Or perhaps, stuck with dialup speeds with the 56k modem.. Please do not contribute to the legend that Malaysians love slower Internet speeds.. 

We demand more.. If TIME can do it.. I'm fairly certain big ol TM can..

I think the new plan is upgrade the upload speed from 5 to 10 , 10 to 20M officially only.

my contract with tm end on 1 April..plan to migrate to maxis fibre 10mbps at 148..pay more less but with additional 4-5 mb..noted on the slow dload speed during 8pm until 6am. Izzit okay?

try watch youtube 1080P for night like 8pm and 9pm and 10pm and 11pm most testing

my friend BM = bukit mertajam vip5 night time 8pm and 9pm and 10pm and 11pm never had problem youtube seen stable and ping always lower

Maybe you are using the old router with antenna. The new router does not have antenna and can support 5Ghxz & 2.4GHz frequency band. For longer distance you should use the 2.4GHz. My download speed always reach 52Mbps easily.

Complaint to SKMM y'day and today, TM representative called. Damn arrogant and lansi. She told me this. "Times dan TM tak sama. Tak boleh compare harga cam ni. Kita tak boleh buat apa-apa. U tak suka TM, u boleh pergi Times.   Kita tak akan paksa customer untuk guna Unifi. Sebelum u subscribe to TM Unifi, u ada baca T&C kan? Kalau u dah baca T&C, then kenapa sign up? Bla bla bla etc etc etc" 

I was like       ... Straight away shoot her bout TM being a monopoly company and if I really got choice, I will straight away port to Times... She then just keep on repeating the same thing again and again with really arrogant and wanna-fight tone with me...

In conclusion, no point complaining to SKMM and putting pressure on TM as they know they monopolize the whole broadband in the country and like it or not, majority of the consumers has no choice but to subscribe to them.

       

Not this one.   The one that supplied by TM is a rectangular shape without antenna with dual wifi.Forgot the brand. Can reach longer distance if using the 2.4Ghz.
