QUOTE(JunJun04035 @ May 17 2016, 10:38 AM) Yes, and that too. Its a shame really...just add that to the 1.5T Premium spec and I'm sure some customers will be happy to pay extra for it. Or have it as an Optional price adder, same as for the Modulo kits. The pre-FL CR-V 2.4 didn't come with with LaneWatch and it was included in the FL launched last year. |

QUOTE(zweimmk @ May 30 2016, 08:48 AM) For this new turbo Civic, because of the DI engine it uses, I recommend future owners to pump Ron97 instead of Ron95. Valid point, and noted.2 reasons: 1. Less carbon buildup in engine because the fuel is cleaner (Euro 4m) 2. Makes better power and FC The 1.8 NA can make do with Ron95 but it's better for the Turbo 1.5 to go with Ron97. |

minus LaneWatch and Honda Sensing package.
I guess the LW will be reserved for the MMC facelift in 2019. |

The blackened front grille be DIY-ed and I'm sure the car accessories shops will soon stock CF grilles replacement or those add on types. Alternatively the chrome grille/sarong can be wrapped in 3M CF sitckers.

Don't be in such a great hurry to place an order for the initial batches.
Let the production run least for a few months to stabilize and iron out the bugs first. |

QUOTE(Jeffreynsx @ Jun 10 2016, 08:16 AM) After having some test drive within a small distance, I would say the NVH did quite a good job. Quality wise soft touch plastic around the dashboard. Turbo feel is fast in CVT transmission if press harder to the acceleration within the rpm range. Fuel consumption is not that good, small distance only can get 5.XX km/l with sudden acceleration and braking. Overall, the car is okay. Is there any high pitch whining sound and rubberband effect from the CVT tranny during full acceleration ? |

QUOTE(Victor3010 @ Jun 13 2016, 01:23 AM) Don't like how the door closes, so much resistance! All these production and quality improvements, I'm sure it will be addressed during the upcoming batches. The welding at the engine could have been done better That's why its always not wise to be an early adopter of new car models. For me, I always buy facelift models, by then most, if not all of the bugs and tech issues would have been ironed out. |

The Civic X seems to ride very low, probably slightly lower than the 8th gen FD.
I wonder if there will be issues with the undercarriage clearing the speed bumps on Malaysian roads especially in the Klang Valley. There are many DIY speed bumps in neighborhoods done by overly enthusiastic RA committees. This post has been edited by romuluz777: Jun 13 2016, 11:08 AM |

QUOTE(Alternation @ Jun 13 2016, 07:42 PM) Excuses. If they need a car, they will say otherwise. No its not so much of a stock clearing exercise. A facelift or MMC, is intended to refresh the looks of a model type in its mid life cycle in the face of growing competition from other C-segment players. The FD was selling very well on its own hence there was no need for any drastic form of improvements and upgrades. I owned an FD2 FL for several years and it was a pretty damn good car.Facelift is a stock clearing exercise and if the model is selling well, Honda will only facelift late in its cycle. If u look at fd, they added only a few cosmetic changes to clear old stock and make way for fb. The FB, on the other hand, had a hard time and in the US market the facelift was done rather early close to a year after new product intro. IMO, the FB was a step backwards from the FD. I could be wrong, but I feel that the even number generation of Civics tend to do better than the odd numbered ones 😂 |

QUOTE(usopkun @ Jun 14 2016, 07:24 AM) I checked the US version also use the same fabric material for lower specs. Same rough texture. Also checked and compared the dashboard texture & patern size/color found out US and Malaysia version is exactly the same. Because someone mentioned US used different materials and texture for interior. He even mentioned the back seat can be leaned backward which I can't find in any US or thais reviews. The quality of the fabric is similar to that of the 1.8 Civic FD1 from 2006. Some said it was the same quality as that of a bath robe. |

18" gunmetal coloured rims with 225/45/R18 rubbers would be awesome. |
