I viewed the Civic on 9 June at Sumber Auto Edaran.  20 salespersons none bother to Layan me. After 5 mins 1 salesgirl came forward but 3 mins later she went answer call then I left alone again.

Anyway, disappointed the rear seat back no 60:40 split folding across the range.  Indonesian spec has it.  My 2008 Civic FD2 have it.  Maybe facelift only can split fold?

When your car arrived, make sure bring along spotlight that run in battery mode to inspect the car paint and car tinting. Under certain temperature, it will generate bubble if the car tint specialist did not do their job well. Hence, can request for replacement of tint before drive out from the showroom. If got scratches at the plastic trim or paint surface, immediately reject the vehicle or ask for cash rebate as a compensation.

Make sure don't signed the collection slip if your vehicle is not in "perfect" condition. Otherwise, you may need to wait for the 1,000 km service. As usual, they will ignore those rattling sound, scratches that happened to your vehicle and claimed it is normal.

Is the rear seat fold-able?

Have you take a look at the real car? Try to sit in the 1.8L if you haven't.
The fabric was so terrible even mid range car like Myvi have better fabric than this.
After sit in both model, straight away call my SA to change from 1.8L to 1.5T.

Though I got poisoned by the 1.5T, I think I may still stick with my booking for 1.8 even the fabric does not satisfy me, I think I rather pay Honda extra money to upgrade the fabric to leather before I even get the car, at least the leather will be fixed properly in the honda plant and it is covered under their warranty. My worry is I do the aftermarket outside and it causes some unexpected issue to the air bag or some funny door noise, then Honda SC may not want to help me to fix the problem. 

By the way, for the window film, is it worth to go for their Ecotint Ray-Barrier 4 or 6 under their Honda's accessory list ? I called up Ecotint to ask and was told the heat rejection is only about 50%, did your Honda City use the Ecotint Ray-Barrier ? Is it OK ?

Hmmm.. i can confirm the TC-P and TC version have it. Not sure 1.8 then.

Cars will be delivered on 20th to the dealer at the branch I booked.  They got  allcation of 25 cars a mix of spec and colors. White is the most popular so white bookings are likely to have later delivery dates.

Apparently many have booked but are struggling to get loans approved due to tighter bank aporovals so the cars are going out to others with full docs/payment first.

The focus should be on safety more than comfort. So I would always go for a security tint. If we can spend >100K on a car, im sure we can top up 1-2K for a good security tint.

I just installed Llumar Diamond 6 on my own car. Makes a huge difference. Car left in the heat for hours and ure not cooked in your seats when u get in. Just 10 secs of the aircon and the car has cooled down considerably.

I booked at MH. So far my SA quite efficient and friendly. Loan approved in less than 1 hour. Submit documents at 12.30, 15 minutes later bank interview, before 1.30pm approved. PBB. Super extremely fast.

So LC the SA, wouldn't he lost the business with this attitude? Now bad economy usually other SA will be more polite and friendly.
