Hi sifu sifu sekalian,

Would like to check with you guys, once I have signed off the defect form, does that mean that I can no longer submit any more defect in the future even within the DLP?

Thank you.
*
No, you still can submit within the DLP. However you need to take note that if that area previously submitted and rectified then you do renovation then it’s no longer covered under DLP.

Hello All, would like to know if the sub-sales house entitle for defect liability period, if the first VP to the seller is within 24 months?
*
No, not entitled. DLP is not extended to sub-sales buyer.

It will all be depending on the developer whether do they want to help you to rectify the defects based on goodwill basis only.

Hi, you all usually hire someone to check the house defect with developer first before collecting keys or collect keys first then check defect?
*
Collect keys first & arrange another appt for defect inspection with developer supervisor cos usually not enough time to do all in a day.. it’s hectic & quite tiring

Anyone can advise whether floor skirting hollow or Timber Strips flooring hollow consider a defects? Was told by the developer that floor skirting hollow or minor Timber Strips flooring hollow was not a defects. Is this true?
*
Not considered, timber itself is hollow it is not an defect.

I guess I should just accept it it's a minor hollow and at the same tile will still log as a defect item for record purpose. Just in case it give problem in later stage. Thanks both.  biggrin.gif

Usually it will only gives issue if it’s infested by termite for timber.. so do clean the house n watch out for any uncommon sightings like wood dust..
