Is there professionals that we can hire to perform defect inspection? How much do they usually charge
*
There are professionals like that but not sure about the average charge. What I heard from the inspection guy that was sent by my ID, they usually charge RM99 but I couldn't remember for what size. I would say it's convenient to have someone pro to help you check if you not sure how to but from my personal exp, you should be there and check together becuz sometimes they can miss out some small details which is understandable especially on the wall cuz I see long ady oso abit blur, so I check a few rounds (I abit OCD paiseh..) I was so scared the guy will beh tahan cuz I asked so much question but thankfully he was ok with it.

The kind of defects I know of:
1. Teardrop paint (will affect wallpaper cuz got bump)
2. Glass window or door rubber (not installed properly)
3. Wall cracks / stains / watermark
4. Uneven wall surface (or sometimes a small hole due to accidental knocking)
5. Bathroom mirror installed unevenly
6. Toilet bowl alignment off
7. Tiles chipped of uneven tiles on the floor where it can cut your feet
8. Grounding (got hole in the cement-like thing between tiles)
9. Drainage & leakage
10. Sockets & doorbell

That's all that I can remember sweat.gif I've attached some of my defect pictures for ref..

Hmmm... is chipped tile considered small small defect? window rubber not well done? paint tears on wall? not sure if there are any developer that wouldn't do it but mine was corrected.

For dented window frame i assume they would need to replace it or smtg.
