Just my 2 cents worth: Magnifying glass would be good too to ensure small little tiny defects being examined clearly. You may end-up hearing those DVL staff (who handle the joint-inspection with you) telling: "Where got?, Mana ada? Itu kotor saja, etc..."

It's rather to be more cautious (a.k.a "Kiasu") than shouting for later *lolz*
