This is like asking people to move on to another mamak due to this particular mamak charge RM10 for a cup of plain water.
A friend of mine saying that in fact there are a lot of drivers around a particular area, just that they turn off the service and sit in the car waiting for the artificial floating rate maliciously push up by them because they know how the system work. Some drivers even work for the two companies simultaneously and switching between the services on and off regularly. Not sure whether these are true?
If Kayu is expensive, then why u want to patronize them? The system is belong to Grab/Uber, it is just an option provided to consumer. Do u know if normal fare is ridiculous low and Grab is subsidizing all the low fare? They are slowly implement system to get them profit, remember they are Company and not charity organization.

In order to push the fare down:-
1. Place a booking no matter how high is the floating rate.
2. Don't show up until the driver cancel the booking.
3. Now the charging rate for that particular area immediately go down.
4. Book again with much more reasonable price.
It works for Grab (there is no passenger rating to worry about).
Please be considerate lah, the way u do is risking your own account to get suspended, and wasting driver time and petrol driving to there. 1. Place a booking no matter how high is the floating rate.
2. Don't show up until the driver cancel the booking.

Take good care of your own account, once u suspended by Grab and it is very very hard to activate back. Don't believe me, try it on your own.
P/S : I recall back at Sunday 10pm, the only high demand area LRT could be nearby Stadium Merdeka, after Tae Yang concert i guess? Or KLCC area LRT? If i am right then why whining here and there?
