I just want to know,

if Nintendo already patented "supporting devices" to make the Switch VR-ready, then wouldn't it had other "supporting devices" that could easily do stuffs like "add a second screen", etc etc since it actually uses a USB-C connector and not propietary ones?

Wouldn't that make Switch an almost "truly" modular gaming console?

Remember that there was a concept in the past where the joy cons can even be replaced with something else entirely.

Screen mirroring is pretty simple and there's lots of devices for it. But adding extra power to make it VR ready is really doubtful because of cost and the fact that consoles add-ons are mostly catastrophic failures.

it would certainly be something really interesting to collect if switch is really come out with more add on especially weird add on

Well, true. But there are some interesting tidbits that point that Nintendo DID give a thought about VR:
1) they had patents for VR-addons for the switch
2) the existance of a 3dimensional gyroscope right in the tablet itself (not the joycon) which added more fuel to the speculation.

the switch has also been confirmed to run to deliver more power when plugged to the AC / dock (like the switch natively runs on 720p, but with extra power from the dock, delivers graphics up to 1080p resolution natively). So there must be some sort of "power up".

I remember that there was a presentation by BlackBerry (yes, the handphone maker) that was featuring a chip from ARM (but manufactured by Texas Instrument) where via wifi and bluetooth, they were able to pair computational power up to 8 devices, basically all devices share the load of the computational power, seamlessly. This was a 2011/2012 tech (or even earlier). so probably NVidia and Nintendo already had something up the sleeves but not ready to show them off yet?

This ignorant one is always those who just stick with one system only i've noticed. You don't see those who play multiplatform complaining much. They just jelly in the end. :3

Back in highschool ds days, i also look more into graphics. Then won a free DS lite in a lucky draw, and give the DS a go despite the graphics. In the end gameplay is all that matters. Till now don't really care much about graphics as long as the gameplay is good, but if both is good always better.
