you can use credit card issued by Malaysian banks in US eShop

I was prompted with a zipcode and upon entering our Malaysian zipcode or even a fake US one it just outright says my card isn't accepted.

maybe you need to call your bank to enable oversea transaction?
i've used cards from CIMB and StanChart on US eShop, no issue
for postcode, use from any state that doesn't have tax for online purchase

if really can't, then purchase eShop top up card from Shopee
if you have paypal, then you can buy eShop top up from seller in reddit, eg r/GameSale or r/GCTrading

will look into it, the topup cards too were my other alternative if all fails

really wanted the pokemon SwSh expansion which is available via eShop

They have a section for discount games and some indie games. They are pretty cheap.

Bake make sure you have an additional sd storage card though.
