Yes bro, your advice is valid and heeded. I do have a few other things up my sleeve thumbup.gif

Lucky that ASB loan is relatively low risk tho. It has no lock in period and if it gets too hot to handle, say BR increases or dividends take a slump, can terminate anytime and collect back the ammortized amount.

I'm riding this ASB loan thing to achieve my target of 1 million in cold hard cash as quickly as possible. Most people will be multi millionaires on paper, (especially with property prices this last few years) but I want Cash money! Cash is King ma... heheh Altho 1M seems very little taking into account inflation and what not. Hmmm might need to revise the target rclxub.gif

I'm a salary earner (not tauke business) so proper and early planning is crucial for me.

learnt a lot from ur strategy on how to invest in ASB but too bad now the loan limit is capped at 200k and not 400k

however i've came up with some alternatives strategies for this issue rclxm9.gif

Hey Davez89, the objective here is to accumulate first. Took me 10 years to earn that 200k dividend so you never know, in that 10 years, PNB may change their minds again.

Mind to share those alternative strategies for the benefit of all of us?
ASB2 maxed already bro... transferred from the dividend of ASB. After this taking ASB2 loan and buying ASW2020 (if can get) otherwise ASD.

Property can't afford anymore. My next one will be 30% down. Cost of ownership now very high for me ady. Gold... hmmm haven't ventured in this yet. Need to research. Dabbling in stock market now.... win some, lose some.... can't seem to gain any ground.... must study more...

was thinking strategies like refinancing property and dump into ASB and max it..

doable right? since its 4.5% vs 7%(asb)

I tell people I save, people don't believe me. I tell people I can save rm1k/month, they don't believe me. If you never use any of your angpow money or chase new phone every year or go drinking and you can save rm1k/month, guess how much one can put aside.

Those are money which I dump into FD. In the process of transferring all into amanah saham once they are matured. And you know FD promo rates need min rm10k.

As a student with 1k saving per month then ur parents must be really rich biggrin.gif
