I've just discovered a BIG error in my old AWS 2020 book. I didn't update the passbook from 1999- 2005 and all the dividends are missing.  

Is it possible to recover the $$ lost after so many years? I'll have to go to ASNB tomorrow.
Sleepless night for me now knowing about it.

I totally can't remember what happened during that period. Can anyone reconfirm this? I thought dividend was added to principal every year.

I'd been in and out country and can't remember those days what had happened until today, looking at ASW 2020 old book and seeing such an odd figure between 1999- 2005. I wonder whether I'd received any cheque but most probably I'll never know now after >10yrs.

I will definitely enquire about this matter tomorrow. Just for a peace of mind as now looking back, there was a change of address during this period and I can't remember any thing now.

My book was not updated since 1/09/ 1998 and next update was in 2005. Most probably when MB opened up in my area. I can't remember when I did change of address and whether I had received anything since then. Totally erased from my memories. Anyway, forms submitted for enquiries.

Today I asked 2 banks again regarding opening new accounts.
Affin bank (my area) has restricted quotas for opening new account. He tried for me last week and system rejected.
They also have a limit of total transaction per day for now- max- 50k only for all accounts.
Another customer ahead of me managed to get some ASM and I took the balance allowed for this bank quotas. Both of us, total $50k.
He tried to check AWS but system declined as it exceed today's bank quotas. They will apply for upgrade later since more customers are aware of their services now.
MayBank staff said they've not receive the new passbook and cannot process any new account at the moment.

As far as I know, only this branch. Probably they're still new to our area and so far only around 4 customers enquiring about these products but they will definitely asking for upgrade as I'm popping in very often.

Don't think so. If like that big boss guy won't be able to buy so many one shot.

Yes, will do it tomorrow again. HLB, MB & Affin are seeing me 2x/day now. Once everything is in place, can just sit back and just update book once a year and let the dividend add up to principal again and again.
