Something insight on Benny Hinn I found on Wikipedia. No wonder that senile guy who claim himself as a prophet anointed by God
QUOTE Hinn's teachings are Evangelical and charismatic, accepting the validity of spiritual gifts, and Word of Faith in origin, with a focus on financial prosperity. Some doctrine and practices that Hinn teaches would be thought unusual in mainstream Christianity.[15] The charismatic Christian community (who, according to a recent study by The Barna Group, make up 46% of United States Protestants and 36% of United States Catholics),[16] is very diverse, and Hinn's ideas are not universally accepted. |

QUOTE(tinarhian @ Feb 25 2016, 10:37 PM) de_luffy, so I was watching this documentary about China..Did you know that “pigtails” were associated with a girl’s marital status. A young girl would wear two pigtails, and when she married, she would wear just one. This may have contributed to the Western view that pigtails are associated with children and young girls. well this was a standard practice during qing dynasty, i guess the tradition still carry on for most chine family especially in rural area while in city area, hardly can see those pig tail anymore |

I think prosperity is part of the life cycle, we cannot avoid it no matter how we try to turn away, same goes with prosperity teaching but not financial prosperity......
Prosperity teaching is important as every church needed a fund to run the church, and more ever if the church keep growing of course they needed a bigger place to cater the growing worshippers. without funds, we're unable to support both local and oversea missionaries or any instruments needed for worship, over the years those equipment will have their expiry date and time to service to extend it lifespan or worse case time to get a new one.....all those need funds |
