Discipline through tragedy is a very worldly thinking I guess. This is news to me.

It's a coping thing. Otherwise, it'll become a 'why didn't God do this if He's good' kind of thinking.

How do we consolidate this bitterness with the Bible? It's something I struggle with too, but I don't know where to look.

Okay I messed up my timeline. It cannot be earlier than 2010 because I haven't started writing until that year. OOPS okay update since 2010-2011.

Now the whole thing was finished in 2013 then I run into publishing and illustration problems. Malaysia don't have a tax treaty, which means I'll get taxed twice. Not only that, our banks are not recognized at all what the meow.

So for years dumb logistics prevented me from releasing.

At it's base, just an Amazon kindle account and your manuscript. Cover and stuff included of course.

But I tried to find illustrations and an American address. My friend had a company, and I thought that I can ask him to be my distributor.

Well that didn't work out in the end because.... reasons. In the end I'm back to square one.

Because Malaysian banks are not recognized, the only way they can send money is via snail mail cheque. Sigh. Why the heck our banks not recognized I also dunno.

Take two to clap hands la. It's not fair to say all of us are trying to be a taliban when we're trying to advice on how to be more respectful.

respect others=less drama=everyone happy.

Edit: For example, if you want to visit my house you must remove your shoes. I have reasons to keep shoes out of my house. Easier to clean, don't want random muck from outside come inside, things like that. Even more important around my area because it's trash everywhere.

If you insist on walking into my house with shoes on because that's what you do at your home, I will be very, very, very, very not happy. It's disrespecting my house rules, make me feel really uncomfortable, and I will have to put extra effort in mopping the floor later.

It's the same with going to church. It's not your house, it's God's house. There will be people there. I'm not talking about the prudes who get flustered at an exposed piano leg. This is basic common sense with basic house rules. Like removing shoes before entering a room or a home who prefers shoes off.

What are the basic house rules for going to church? Dress moderately. What is moderate? Depends on region to region. In the past, women of that region must wear headscarves. Now we don't need to wear headscarves, but we're expected to not be too fancy.

Well, it's more about the response to criticism than the criticism itself. It started out as a joke which got out of hand. And that's not nice. We can all agree that the resulting events made everyone not quite happy.
