QUOTE(unknown warrior @ May 17 2016, 08:12 PM) Doesn't matter the Catholics or Anglicans..any Christians can ask God to give revelation of his word by the HS to understand the context and not just understand it on the surface. Catholic only believes in the Pope and Church's interpretation of Bible verses and, off course, Tradition above Bible.😈 |

QUOTE(unknown warrior @ May 18 2016, 08:54 AM) Morning People of God! that's liberal theologyOkay, my take is this; There are 3 priests. One said the correct way to get God to answer your prayers is to prostrate yourself fully on the floor because it shows proper humility and full reverence for God. Another priest says, no the correct way is to fall on your knees with your hands raised up because it shows the correct way of submission. The Last priest disagree and says no, the correct way is to stand on your legs and raise your hands to God because that shows, you stand strong in Faith to God. A telephone technician overheard the conversation of the 3 priests, while still up on the telephone pole interrupted saying.. Excuse Me sir, you know God answers my prayers while I'm upside down, sometime hanging sideways and at times in the most weirdest posture in the course of my work. God Bless ya'll. Hope you get this parable. |

QUOTE(tinarhian @ May 18 2016, 09:38 PM) Don't you think Catholics put too much emphasis on traditions and rituals? They say Protestants are heresy. If not, why do you think that the Protestant movement came about? If not because of the Catholics. I always ask my "Christian" friends when was the last time they look at the mirror i.e. the last time they read the Bible. Also, when was the last time they seriously look at Church histories....full of man created rituals, idols, and "truth" from an objective manner. Generally, they don't. They just merely listen to the Pope or Bishops or merely cut and paste from their "Church" websites. God should have created robots instead of giving human being brains! Also, thousand years of "Church" history full of issues, corruptions, scandals, genocide, power crazy ....
Claims that Protestants have thousands of denominations while they have only "one true church". But, did they realise that within the "one true church" has so many sects? Never use the brain to analyse things while just blindly follow. Or do they have one? |

QUOTE(unknown warrior @ May 19 2016, 07:52 PM) Very different lar.Otherwise, why would the religious Christians say "praying to or through" (thought outright forbidden by God) is different than the pagans praying to the dead? |
