no ler ... i bought the hood and hob myself, and got the kitchen cabinet fella to install ... but end up like this ...
yeah was looking for an adapter ... else might need to get those metal ring to force it to wrap around the outlet cap

What you can do is to get short 6" white PVC pipe (probably free excess cut) and make it as perfect rigid flexible duct end. Cup it nicely over the hood and tape it nicely on top of the hood, unless you want to epoxy it laugh.gif

thats the problem, as its too rigid, like the flexi pvc hose ending ... else i would just tape it up...

actually now if i forfully tape it up ... also can wan ... but my top portion of the hood is exposed... will look ugly

It looks like you have flexible plastic piping instead of aluminum. The best possible solution is to go to shop that sell plumbing/PVC piping and get PVC pipe reducer 6" to 5" or called PCV Reducer Coupling. The problem is the piping now is following the metric size. Maybe have to order from country that still use inches like USA laugh.gif I think you can get the matching mm size, close if not exact. Good luck

This would be great but then i just realised i have very little wiggle space to include a 5 to 7 inch converter into the equation ... very likely will just tape it up or if i can find a very low profile converter ...

damn - some things are not meant to be DIY'ed

I think there is no such thing as low profile one. This is why I previously suggested you find PVC pipe just big enough to slot to the hood exhaust hole to enlarge its outer diameter. This way you can slot in your flexible hose with less gap before taping it. This is more like homemade slim converter wink.gif

ok i get what you mean, as the outlet exhaust has too little space to tape on the pvc pipe

so i just need to find a slightly smaller than 5 inch pvc pipe

this is the easiest solution for now

will go check it out - thanks man

Ts, my hood has exactly the same problem as yours. From teka. Solution would be to use an adaptor, as shown by idoblu above. Bought mine for rm80, stainless steel one.

Using DHB-90. Okay la, I bought at their warehouse sale
I always use this hood installer - yes he only does hood, nothing else. This is the second time I used him. Very neat, clean job.
