Lately, it's been quite frustrating for me in the LEGO world. Unable to compete with other people (let's not call names) due to various reasons (don't want to/cannot wake up at 3 am to start queuing etc). Collecting LEGO has lost it's meaning.

Maybe I need to focus on fewer themes (like Batman only!) and this will give me the opportunity to do so. If I quit completely, I may go continue some other hobby which I've left previously ...

With a heavy heart, I'm offering my items up for sale. I know the owners will love these as much as I do, maybe more. (I'm hanging on to my Haunted House and Modulars - Grand Emporium and Town Hall, but may put them up for sale eventually).

Still compiling my list of CMF - those that I want to sell, or if there are any that I want to keep.

i was collecting transformers for years then recently only switch to lego,
this lego hobby is much much expensive than transformers

Scalper can only survive if you buy from them. So don't buy and let their stock collect dust.

I've been collecting too many things. In the beginning, I collected comics, back when I was still in school. Then when I started working, started 1/6th figures and Hot Toys. Used to collect Transformers and other small action figures too.

Things seem to have come full circle. Going back to comics and action figures again.

As for scalpers, if you can't beat them, join them?

New items, I also won't pay higher. But I have paid higher for stuff which are old and retired.

Example in one of the groups, a guy was offering trade ration of 1:1. His Series 15 Shark Guy for other animal suits like:

- Piggy Suit
- Panda Suit
- Lizard Suit
- Gorilla Suit
- Bumblebee Girl

Can't remember the rest.

Logically, would anyone else take that offer?

But new stuff, cmon man, only out 1 day and already RM150-200+ premium price? Ridiculous.

Who's to blame? LCS because if you were in the US, there'll be 50 units in the lego store that day and they'll have another 50 at restock and they don't reserve forever. If you want, they will reserve the unit till the end of the day, then too bad.

No such thing as reserve for months, keep in book, stock come in, you get it bullshit.
Or I'm friends with the manager, so the 10 units in the shop, I can buy all.

There you can only buy 1-2.
