Why not buy locally?

I use gundam.my for a few things, but chose the same day delivery in Klang Valley so it was sent by one of those courier companies so all hand delivered in a few hours. So item was safe.

But for most of my Gundams, etc I have local guys that get their stuff from suppliers. The hard to find ones, got a few guys that have relationships with suppliers in Taiwan/HK/Japan etc so easier than dealing with the shops. Plus price is also always cheaper than online stores.

PO items is a problem, if you don't get in at the proper time then you can almost always get the item but it'll be a little more expensive.
So always a good idea to get involved with the PO whenever there's something you want coming out.

Compared to the RM8 for courier from Gundam.my I prefer the RM11 for same day delivery. Ya it's rocket something and very efficient. Package comes in great condition as well.
Also there's pick up from their Ampang office so I'm guessing if you want the condition as per the condition it is in the store, chose that option but most of the time I get most of my stuff from other places.

Does anyone have the contact number for that store in Damen?

That's what I wanted to ask them about, but if there's no contact number I'm not going to bother going. I get close to those prices anyway normally.

As for airbrushing, if you're looking to spend the money get a good one because the cheaper ones lack quality, precision and you'll find yourself buying another in a few short months if you're doing some serious work.

batmang, it's not going to be easy. You'll have to prime with the proper base, use the right metallic paint and it gets slightly more complicated if you're going to be shading as well (hell decide on which type you're comfortable with) and make sure you have the proper tools (airbrush, spray booth, mask, gloves, etc) and all that.

Spray cans could be easier, but you'll still need some protection.

Wanting the Banshee myself, but currently waiting for a better price. No rush since I just got in some unicorns so just wait patiently first. Plus I already bought a bunch of LED sets so no need the package that's appearing in that promotion.

Yeah, majority of my gundams come from him. Also P-Bandai, etc. But gotta get in the PO early! Also can COD, or postage with him. Better COD since some boxes are pretty big.

Dropped by Litt Tak at Da Men yesterday evening. It's on the 3rd floor in case anyone was wondering. They're having 40% discounts off their retail prices but they mark-up the items over 50% so that's not good.

Sazabi ver ka at RM626.90, ridiculous. After discount still higher than prices outside. So don't waste your time.

Only good promotion is the PG Banshee, unfortunately the LED warranty is not long. So if you buy and don't build it immediately or test the LEDs, if there's a problem later they won't accept the return.

The Barbatos Hi-Res also over RM630+, outside more than RM100 cheaper.

Ya, the PG Banshee is definitely cheaper than most places but I can get cheaper. LED is a nice price though.

If display, I like the PG Unicorn (with LED) along with the FA set
Nothing more intimidating and beautiful!

I was there the other day, only thing cheaper is indeed the PG Banshee but even I can get a cheaper price for that outside. Everything else has been marked up very high, so with the 40% discount it's still higher than the prices you get outside.

So it was a wasted trip.

I was looking for the high res Barbatos, they're selling for RM630 or something like that. RM100 cheaper outside from the right source. So another high priced item. I told them, prices so high and they agreed. Saying can definitely get cheaper outside. Haha.

But nice fellas, willing to chat and have no attitude like some other stores.

Just ordered the kit with the effects. Didn't want to bother with the special coating version since I was going to paint it anyway.

Nice one, I'm waiting for a price below RM700 then I'll get 2. Only Unicorn related PGs that I'm missing at the moment but I'm not too much in a rush to get em. I already got the P-Bandai expansion for the Norn change and 3 PG FA sets for the displays. Also just got in the funnels for the MG Sazabi ver ka (so happy with that).

No leh, going back to Gundam from Lego. So now just the 2 other unicorns and 2 banshee. Then work my way back to the older PGs. Couldn't resist the Sazabi, so I'll probably work on that real soon.

Also need to save money for Phenex soon.
