Hello guys,
im really dumbfounded now.
need some advise on air cooling, specifically on my GPU temp.
when im running game, (modern warfare), the temp jumps from 50c (idle temp) to 70c and max is 80c while gaming. i thought the cooling is not enough but after i add up another 3x fan, the temp is still like this. im worried that im gonna burn the GPU if im gaming non stop.
here is my build:-
- Case Lian Li PC-011
- CPU Ryzen 7 2700x
- GPU RTX 2080 Twin Fan
- RAM HyperX RGB thing (2x8, 3200Mhz)
- PSU forgot what
Fan configuration 1
- 3 intake at bottom
- 3 intake at side
- 1 outake at top
Fan configuration 2
- 3 intake at bottom
- 3 intake at side
- 3 outtake at top
i changed to fan configuration 2 but the GPU temp is still at 81c. Can please help?
im currently using SIV to control the fan speed. another software is Argus Monitor.
actually case fan doesn't really improve your CPU/GPU temperature, probably just 1c-3c difference.im really dumbfounded now.

80c+ for air cooled GPU seems normal. if u wanna go significant lower temperature, only way is go for custom water cooled on your GPU.
then you can see at least 15-20c difference
