I have a problem with my temperature but it could be the censor. It's a E6320 on P965-DS3. At 1599(266.5*6) my temperature reading- with Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme with air condition turned on- utilising CoreTemp shows it idling at 24. Couldn't get an average load value yet. It's running on F12 BIOS.
I suspect it's giving an inaccurate reading therefore unable to allow me to OC without worries as my temps could be alot higher.

QUOTE(campsol2k @ Dec 20 2007, 04:11 AM) Yes. the temperature of your cpu and gpu are normal. No. Your temperature is correct and accurate. Normal temperature of E6320 using stock cooler is around 30~35 degree idle. Yours is using TR Ultra Ex. So the temperature should be below 30. However CoreTemp reporting my processor as E6400. Is that a known issue?

QUOTE(clawhammer @ Dec 20 2007, 05:05 AM) Did you try the latest version? 0.95.4? Was using v0.95. Used 0.95.4 and the core reported is correct now. Thanks. However, the core temperatures are even lower at 21 and 22. Will run Orthos and check the load temp sometime later.

Is it possible for the processor temps to be lower than the ambient temp during the same time of observation using air cooling?

I came across a review of an active air-cooling heatsink that has a reported CPU core temps lower than ambient.
