I believe the room/ambient temp plays a big part of it.  My 2600K on water was running at max 85c previously at 1.42v while doing Prime95.  While I don't know my room temp, but the water temp on the res shows around 34c when idle, and around 38-40c during Prime95.  Turned on the air-cond to 27c, and the temp dropped to around 77-79c.  Cheers! smile.gif

yup in aircond your ambient is low thats y there is some improvement... sometimes even greater improvement can be seen

Idle temp  41c-43c

well actually idle temp is not important.. looking at your load and idle temp i think they are in the reasonable range. no need to worry.. owh ya your ambient temp also play an important factor here...
