QUOTE(TristanX @ Apr 8 2008, 04:52 PM) I'm using CM Centurion 5 casing. It has 120mm exhaust fan at the back and a normal casing intake fan at the bottom side of front. Asus EN8800GT Bigfan card is huge and I think it will block some airflow in the casing. Bro its better to make more hot air going out rather then sucking in more air...i'm talking about experience hereThat's why I was thinking of adding a 5.25" drive bay intake fan right on top of the micro floppy drive. i use CM cent 5 too before and temp has been an issue for me, heat coming from our procs and gc need to be push out so it wont heat up our whole system... adding more intake fan wont cool down ur system but blowing out more hot air will... just my 2cent... |

QUOTE(KayK @ Apr 15 2008, 05:44 PM) My bad for misunderstanding what you posted... bro i'm using the new centurion 590 not the centurion 5 those are two different casing... I decided to change my current 120mm to evercool aluminum fan 120mm and add in rocket V...hopefully can lower the temp a bit... |
