I guess ur apply too much or too little of the paste.

You got 1C drop from the first day install till now right as you got 37C idle before, now is 36C? Maybe you should wait... or if you like, you can reapply it...like that you can know whether you apply it right or not, so you will know how much should be apply next time...

I also wonder mine as I still get 44C at idle from that day till now...dun know is it not enough pressure... hmm.gif anyway I will re-install my NH-12F after I get my new CM Centurion 530 from Moderno soon (will buy after get salary drool.gif )... rclxm9.gif
*
now after 77hours of sink in time idle temps are 35c hmm.gif dunno if its cause of the cool morning weather or its gettin more n more sinked in laugh.gif

The best way to know is, you check the temp during midnight, let say 12 am, then you check again at the other day at about the same time...mostly midnight will be around same ambient temp for normal wheather right?  icon_idea.gif  brows.gif

now after 85hours its still at 35c idle hmm.gif hope that it gets to below 34c cool.gif though my NB has showed a 1c improvement laugh.gif

edit : after 87 hours my temps when utilization is below 5% are 34c on proc and 31c on mobo rclxms.gif

I think normally idle temp won't differ much, but load temp will (correct me if I am wrong.. tongue.gif )

Yalor, can't compare...I am just saying that if my Pentium D 820 also can get that kind of temp...then you know how well is the HSF lar...right? brows.gif
*
so far now the full load temp after applyin ceramique has dropped by 2c laugh.gif now full load is 43c laugh.gif

i think only very good WC can reach that kind of temps with a D820 lah tongue.gif
