QUOTE(neoxz @ Feb 2 2007, 02:59 AM) I guess ur apply too much or too little of the paste. i was thinking that could be the cause too hmm maybe i should reapply tonight QUOTE(lolhalol @ Feb 2 2007, 08:48 AM) did u let it sink in? anyway ceramique should be improving ur temp.... or u just got a bad ceramique. its been sinked in for about 60hrs+ already since i applied it..temps now idle 36c i think i dint apply correctly lah.cant be ceramique is worse then the generic silicon tim edit: do you think i should reapply it or wait till like 100hours? QUOTE(Kataro @ Feb 2 2007, 10:24 PM) You got 1C drop from the first day install till now right as you got 37C idle before, now is 36C? Maybe you should wait... or if you like, you can reapply it...like that you can know whether you apply it right or not, so you will know how much should be apply next time... I also wonder mine as I still get 44C at idle from that day till now...dun know is it not enough pressure... anyway I will re-install my NH-12F after I get my new CM Centurion 530 from Moderno soon (will buy after get salary )... now after 77hours of sink in time idle temps are 35c dunno if its cause of the cool morning weather or its gettin more n more sinked in

QUOTE(Kataro @ Feb 3 2007, 02:42 PM) The best way to know is, you check the temp during midnight, let say 12 am, then you check again at the other day at about the same time...mostly midnight will be around same ambient temp for normal wheather right? now after 85hours its still at 35c idle hope that it gets to below 34c though my NB has showed a 1c improvement edit : after 87 hours my temps when utilization is below 5% are 34c on proc and 31c on mobo This post has been edited by pengster: Feb 3 2007, 11:34 PM

QUOTE(Kataro @ Feb 5 2007, 11:32 PM) I think normally idle temp won't differ much, but load temp will (correct me if I am wrong.. ) Yalor, can't compare...I am just saying that if my Pentium D 820 also can get that kind of temp...then you know how well is the HSF lar...right? so far now the full load temp after applyin ceramique has dropped by 2c now full load is 43c i think only very good WC can reach that kind of temps with a D820 lah

@E-J@1 well i've used the ArctiClean to clean of those marks on my old school p4 proc and managed to get it all clean and nice.i guess you could use that.
